If a player can move up to a new age group next year, can he play on his current card this year at Ft. Myers Winter Nationals...or must he get a new card for next years age group?

Thanks grumpy...Thought that since the TOC was a 2009 tournament, although played in 2010, the roster for Ft. Myers establishes who you play for in 2010, with no need to disband the 2009 team.

Hey Guys...Since Ft. Myers is a 2010 tournament, and we plan on playing in the TOC in Feb...can our players go to Ft. Myers on new team(s) without officially disbaning. We would disband after participating at the TOC.

Discussion: KC Results

Got rained out Sunday. Saturday...humid & hot, but got in all games. Great job by Will & Randy. We, US Pallet 60's, took first place in AAA, only because we lucked out and had a close win (11-9 in 8 innings) against very good Old School Legends in pool play. Lost to KC Bombers in our first game , so I assume they won there Major division.

Discussion: Hotels in or near Gallatin, Tn?

Went there in May. Very few motels. Best one in Gallatin is probably the Jameson Inn Gallatin. Got good deal online. Our 60's stayed at the Best Western Fairwinds Inn, in Goodlettsville, TN. It is about a 25 minute drive to the fields. Again got good deal online. Both nice & clean.
Need more info e-mail me at sanpal@charter.net

Discussion: Which fields at Schaumburg, Illinois?????

Motel Info: Hey Corky...I will try not to stutter this time. Our Budweiser 65's "social director" got a great deal on rooms near Schaumburg fields. He went through priceline and got a 3 1/2 star motel for $52 plus tax. I called them and the best price I could get was $78. The risk you take is that it is non-refundable. So if you are willing to do that, you can save a bundle.
Good luck...see you in Schaumburg

Our 65's "social director" will be going through priceline for our rooms. He usually gets a great deal, but the risks are rainouts, which did happen to us at a previous tournament. By any chance have any of you booked through SSUSA...if so whay kind of prices did you get. Thanks

Hey out there...we are taking two teams to the Midwest Championships (a 60 & 65 team). Tried to find out from Sacramento which fields the two teams would play on...& basically got the run-a-round. Want to make motel arrangements and would like to stay close to where we play. Anyone have any information that could help us.

Discussion: Portable Batting Screen

Tim, I have made two portable pitching screens made out of pvc pipe and we have been using it this spring. They can be made to to fit in a check in bag. I have thought about making extras and selling them at tournaments. I know there are some good ones out there, but I didn't want to pay that much money. I could probably make it for a sales price of $150.00 to $160.00 plus shipping. E-mail me if interested or if you have questions. sanpal@charter.net

Mike,
Just purchased a pair of Boombahs. Was told that they were very comfortable and they are. Also bought a backpack. You can get them online. The shoes were about $45. Got both for $107.00, included shipping.

Misplaced my post. Looking for two infielders to play on our 60's AAA tournament team. One needs to also be able to pitch. We play in 6 to 8 tournaments and our 1st tournament will probably in in Gallatin, TN (SPA), on May 1-3. Contact me at sanpal@charter.net
