She was right to do so. Kill the play (ESPECIALLY on a batted ball). Check the injury, and decide what to do with the Batters/Runners after that.

I wouldnt go as far as calling someone a piece of shit...thats harsh, and ruins your point. I just think he didnt act in his own (or anyone elses) best interest last weekend.

Without a doubt there are things that go wrong in tournaments....alwsya have been, always will....I just take issue with the "take my ball and go home" attitude...and then the spraying of it all over a message board. If I run into an issue like that, I COMPLETE MY ASSIGNMENT...and dont go back.

Also...If its such a wealthy pension...why is money such an issue.... like I said..its important to be paid...but why NOT sit down and talk to someone about it instead of making such a fuss that other umpires who have never even met you heard about it miles away?

I would conted that if he went with the purpose of making money, he should leave umpiring and get a better paying job. Its GREAT to be compensated for umpiring, but if its a JOB...you wont do a good job....and without going into details, I think that shows in this case.....

VinnyLV..did you go to the tournament to make money, or because you enjoy umpiring?
