I like the way SPA does it, they post team rosters on their Team Ratings Website Page.

Correction:
How much influence does your regional tournament
director's report have on Ratings? After each SSUSA tournament we have played in, the TD turns in a report to Sacramento. As a manager and player, I would like to see the report. There are multiple factors that go into rating a team, the regional tournament director's report should carry the most weight when determining a team's rating.

LP, our team playing in your tournament is contingent on whether or not we can show up at your ranch in Sweeney Switch for beer and bbq.

Discussion: Gold and Silver Division

We have some SSUSA and SPA sanctioned tournaments that will have a gold and a silver division. If teams after playing their seeding games are placed in the gold or silver division, irregardless
of ratings, what is the purpose of having ratings?

Discussion: Mask or Pitcher Protection Screen

Mask or Screen, which one would provide better protection for a pitcher? We use them in our C-Division League in Austin, no problem with the screen, hit the screen, dead ball. We use a
screen at all of our practices, as an infielder it does not restrict or impede my ability to throw or catch the ball (there are other factors that come into play that will prevent that). It seems to me that it is a natural progression to go from mask to screen if we want to protect the pitcher.

Discussion: Managers/Players around the Texas Region, what do you think about the Sportsplex in Houston?

Our League San Antonio Senior Softball League had their annual banquet last night, good time had by all. I personally think SA would be a great location for the TX State Championship. We have two (2) facilities that would support the tournament, A four (4) field complex at Alva Jo Fisher would support the 65+, 70+, 75+, & 80+ teams (I know the fences are only 275'). The Kennedy Softball Complex, (4) fields, it would support the 40+, 50+, 55+, & 60+ teams. Probably would have to get the support from the Mayor's office since our Park and Rec folks don't seem to know that senior softball exists. Our senior games (softball event) are held at the Kennedy Softball Complex, it seems they have
a connection with Park and Rec, maybe SSUSA or THCC
should contact the senior game rep here in SA and figure out how to get some SSUSA sanctioned tournament here. Let's not about forget SPA, they could make an effort to host a sanctioned tournament here in SA.

Discussion: where are all the pitchers

Our pitcher(s) will be wearing a mask at TOC (I am assuming that a pitcher's mask will be required), this will be their first time wearing one. We have a couple of practices scheduled before TOC, hopefully they will make the adjustment to wearing a mask.
