| May 24, 2010 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: ACC results - loudoun va Mike, At least Boom Boom came back in to get Alvie. I did add a few to my scroll this weekend. If we had to use paper to record them all, we would have to use all the trees in the Northwest to make the paper. Mike, take care. Mike Santo Sweet Construction 55 |
| Feb. 9, 2010 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Move the TOC I am driving from NC this morning. One of my team mates is driving from NJ this morning. Too bad, we wait all this time and the weather sucks. Not going to be much better on Friday 53 degrees with showers. Oh well, hope we have a team for Friday. Mike |
| Feb. 8, 2010 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Move the TOC To me it's not whether us East Coast teams can compete, it is trying to get there, holding our teams together and where and when we can practice. I still say the TOC should be the last tournament of 2009 and only have one Winter National or Winter Worlds which can begin the new season with new players. Hold the TOC on one of the sites reserved for the Winter Nationals or Winter Worlds. Wait a couple of weeks and the run the Winter Worlds or Nationals. Come back in February with another big tournament and teams can decide if they want to go. In fact that is when you can have the Winter Nationals, in the Winter and not the Fall. | Feb. 2, 2010 Pieman | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: All Star Game Ross, Some of us will be there to play in mini games on Thursday. Maybe we can all hook up and form a team if we do not have enough. Also, they pulled the big switch yesterday adding Timberworks to our major division. Screwed up our schedule and possibility of using my 50 guys. Mike |
| Jan. 13, 2010 Pieman | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Anyone in NC hitting Ross, I brought all the cold down herefrom NJ. They say it's the coldest since 1982 here in NC Was in the 50's today and should stay there. See you at the TOC. Mike |

| Jan. 13, 2010 Pieman | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Team Looking For TOC Players Diehard, I totally agree that the TOC should be the last tournament of the year followed by Winter Nationals and Worlds. Mike Santo Sweet Construction 55 |

| Dec. 7, 2009 Pieman | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Its Unanimous - The Best Senior Softball Players Are in California and Florida I would think that the climate has something to do with the fact there are so many teams from California and Florida. Many move or retire to these states. We do not have as many teams in the North East but some of us still like to play even in the snow. We will travel to Florida since it is a 2-3 hour flight and take our chances in the Spring and Winter. We will try to get in swings this Winter and will travel to the TOC and take our chances because we love to play. Mike Santo Sweet Construction 55 |

| Dec. 2, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: florida feb 2010 The Answer. If you email me or give me a call I can fill your pitching position this Sunday. I am the pitcher for Sweet Construction and most likely I would know some of your players. If you played for Carl then obviously I know a lot of your players. | Dec. 1, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: florida feb 2010 The Answer. I run Sweet Construction 55 Major and I am looking for an outfielder for next season. We paly a bunch of tournaments and are going to these years TOC. You would not be eligible to play 55 TOC because you are not 55. We must know each other because you had to have played for Chip or Billy Mac. Mike Santo mspieman@comcast.net 908-303-7919 |
| Nov. 25, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC This has bothered me also. Seems as though the TOC should be played first, then the Winter Nationals and Winter Worlds. It is possible for a team to win as AAA then move up to Major but still play the TOC as AAA. If we did not win the Northeast Championships, TNT would have qualified 55 AAA and 55 Major since they won Winter Nationals as AAA were moved to Major for remainder of the 2009 season. Teams do change and it is hard to change before the TOC. Mike Santo Sweet Construction 55 Major |
| Nov. 22, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Looking for players Sweet Construction 55 Mens Major team is looking for two outfielders and a second basemen for this years T.O.C. We also need the same postions for the 2010 season. Our team has been hit with three major injuries and at this time have only 9 for the T.O.C. At he end of the season we were playing with only 10. Even though Sweet Construction 55 could not get enough for this years Winter Nationals, 5 of us combined with Cryans and won the 50 AAA. Each player pays their own way. We have a group of softball whores that just want to play. This year we took seconds in the 2009 T.O.C, Atlantic Coast Championships, Eastern Championships, Northeast Championships, Virginia Beach Winter Nationals, and lost to Roberts at the U.S. Championship in Phoenix. Only respond if you are from NJ, Delaware, NY or Pennsylvania and are eligible to play 55 and over. If interested contact me, Mike Santo, pitcher/manager Sweet Construction 55 at: mspieman@comcast.net. |

| Nov. 2, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: What 50 AAA teams are going to the TOC? Ross, you are correct. I was thinking of Ft. Myers. I will be playing with Cryans 50 AAA team. Mike |
| Nov. 1, 2009 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: What 50 AAA teams are going to the TOC? Cryans is going to be there with a combination of new 50's and some 55's. I was under the impression if you won the Worlds you automaically move up to the next level. Mike Santo |
| Aug. 27, 2009 Pieman | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Torn Bicep Tendon I have detached biceps tendons in both arms. In 1985 and was dicouraged from surgery and then in 1987 detached the other. Get it sewn back on. I played ball 7 weeks after surgery in 1987. Tried to have the 1985 injury repaired but atrophy set in and all they could do is pull it down and tie it into another tendon. Get it repaired right away. Mike Santo Sweett Construction 55 |
