They use the run through rule in a weekend league that I play on and thats where it should stay. When I play tournament ball I look forward to the competion and the way the game was meant to be played, besides I play outfield and it's hard enough already to throw people out. Just my 2cents. Bob

Discussion: Tournament Fee collections?

Question to you managers/coaches out there that are not sponsored, how do you handle paying the fees for the tournaments? Do you make a one time collection or 3 times per year or do you collect per tournament. Just a throught how others take care of that little headache. thanks Bob

Double L10
Talked to Fran from SSWC office she said there were about 120 teams registered to play in Reno that weekend.I don't know what the break down is per division but with that many teams entered there should be plenty of competition in each. Bob

I'm not sure of the directions from Goleta but for us we would take the 101 fwy. north to Cabrillo Blvd exit turn left take that to Milpas, the ballfield is on the corner of Cabrillo/Milpas.(on a side note the fields are across the street from Fess Parkers Inn) Hope this helps Bob

The best way is just show up early with your gear (8:00am) and try to hook up with a team that might be short handed. Last week our team had to do just that , either way you get the exposure/opportunity to find a team. Good Luck Bob
