| April 17, 2013 KBrown 6 posts | Two "local" Tournaments/Missouri and Illinois There are two Senior Games tournaments coming up shortly. The Southwest Missouri Senior Games are in ten days, April 27-28 in Springfield, Missouri. The director is Susan Provance at 417-837-5817. She's looking for a few more teams. $270, 5 GG. The Heart of Illinois Senior Games softball tournament will be June 1-2 in Peoria. This will be our first time playing in this one, but it is supposed to be a good tournament for a smaller event. $250, 4 GG. Contact Janelle Clark at 309-681-2860. |
| April 19, 2013 gb69 Men's 65 51 posts | Don't forget the Missouri Senior Games- Columbia MO., June 15-16. This is the only Missouri Qualifying tournament for the 2013 Summer National Senior Games. SPA rules, Rainbow Softball Complex is one of the best complexes for senior games in the midwest. Deadline for sign up is May 24. Web link is:http:http://www.smsg.org/senior_games |

| April 19, 2013 gb69 Men's 65 51 posts | This is not a USSSA tournament. SSUSA has a tournament later on in the year at the same complex. This is the Missouri Senior Olympics games. Iowa teams can play. Go to www.smsg.org/senior_games. $300 per team. Click on sports, then softball. All the rules and registration information is there. |
| April 19, 2013 KBrown 6 posts | An update to my first post: The Southwest Missouri Senior Games event originally scheduled for April 27-28 has been postponed. This event may be rescheduled for another weekend in May or early June. I'll post an update if/when I hear about it. |
