Any comments on Demarini's new end loaded senior bat? A vendor was at a FHC tournament several months ago and set up demo's on an open field for hitting. It had a nice feel and seemed to have good pop right out the wrapper. What are your thoughts?

I asked for A 27 And A 28.
Ollie And I Played With 55+ Demolition In Hemit. We Both Hit The 28 Oz, Wow Great Bat Great Power. It Got A Hair Line Crack After 30 Swings But No Change in Power Or Tone, Just Keep Hitting It. Ollie Hit Several Balls At The Top Of The Light Poles. Since Ive Played 6 Weekends, 4 Guys On Az Elite Swing My Bat. We Had A Demo Batting Practice for Anyone Wanting To Try Them. At Least 100 swings were put on my 28. The 28s hair line crack is still 3 inches Long, Greg with On Old School Asked To Swing It. His Bomb At The Lights Was Acceptable And Dan Hit A Homer after having a slow Day. I also Pitched 125 Balls To Cliff For BP. He Loved It and was pounding the Ball. Chuck Stacy A Miken Addict That Breaks A Bat Every Other Weekend When He Was Playing Alot, Hit A # rn Homer And Wow Great Bat!!.
I would Say It Is Hands Down The Best Senior Bat Ive Had!!!!!!!!!!
The First Weekend i got them, Don Long Pitcher For North West Legends. We Hit At CCV. A Young 28 year Old Friend Had Hit The Block Wall Across The Street (400) Ft, I Drooled at the Thought Of Doing It Too. With The 28 Oz, I hit 6 Balls In A Row that Hit The Sidewalk Or The Wall. O Yea Just Remembered My Son Matt In Masquite Nv On The Baseball Field, I Let Him Hit It About 35 Swings. He's A 27 Years Old That Hits A Usssa Bat 350 - 400 Ft. He Thinks Their Crazy For Letting Us Swing Senior Bats. Last Detail Most of the Mikens And Rebocks Ive Had Lasted About 25 to 300 swings and only hitting Rocks and Trump Balls. Harder Balls Killed The Bats!!!, I Broke 6 Bats The First Year Playing Senior Ball With Cjs.
I Was pitching Much Harder League Balls To Cliff And The Bp Guys.
The Blue End Loaded (One) Is Sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the green model from last year, really rewarded hard hitters who could compress the bat and get great exit speed and line drives. The 2014 Senior Endload is a completely different composition and man, what a bat. This bat is hot quickly out of the wrapper and game ready. The best part is that it outperforms the green one from 2013, and it does not take a strong hitter to flex the barrel. Demarini did a great job on this bat and it has one of the largest endloads in the market, so don't order too heavy. I swung a 30 oz balanced green one, but feel the 28oz endload is enough for me. They also have a balanced model, which DOES swing very balanced.
The new model I think is most similar in feel to the Reeboks. And it won't take forever to break in. I have had no less than 300 swings on these..which I feel is good for a bat that is game ready not too long out of the wrapper...and gets me through the season. As with most senior bats, if you want to use for bp all the time, it will break...but I would rather have a bat that is hot out of the wrapper, and is a game bat... rather than one that takes 300 stiff swings to break in to a hot level.

Guys.. what GIBBY59 is saying about the Demar "ONE" is legit, this bat has a very good Pop/Distance to it. I played with him and Ollie on DEMO and the ball was flying of this bat even with the 3" linear crack..

Please help me understand, if this bat is so great why isn't more Senior Players using it. Looks to me that 85% or more are using Miken Senior bats. This is from my observation.

Bob4242,

The short answer to your question is that this version just recently hit the market. Though I've not swung it yet, I've heard excellent things from those who gave. The previous versions of "The One" were good line drive bats but fell short of the performance level of the Miken, Reebok, or Combat bats.

Also, some guys just have an affinity for Miken and will never change regardless of any new product hitting the market, IMO.

I swung this bat in batting practice and was hitting bombs with it as was Jdawg. I was very impressed. It's as good as the Rebok and the Mikan. Not sure about durability. I will be hitting it again in Vegas.
