Aug. 16 kingofmen 9 posts | footwork when pitching in a tourney today,i was told by the ump to quit walking around in my 6 ft. rectangle while delivering. i know in some sanctions you get one step in any direction. can i walk and take multiple steps all inside my rectangle while delivering? |

I was trying to answer the problem kingofmen had about walking in the box, by stating pivot foot has to be planted. Wasn't trying to define the box and how to use it. I assumed all pitchers would know they are legally in the box when touching any part of that box, basic knowledge, but some don't realize they must keep pivot foot planted.................. |
