What I like about softball. When you come up to bat, you have a 50/50 chance of making people happy. If you get a hit, then your team is happy. If you get put out, then the other team is happy. The downfall of softball, You just can't please everyone at the same time. LOL.

You might have a 70-30 chance of getting on base, but only one of the two teams will be happy. If you keep practicing you might improve that mediocre batting average! ;-)

Actually, I finish up last season with a 780 avg (my highest ever). Right now sitting on a .667 avg for 4 games (season just started). So I make my team more happier than the other team LOL.

As long as they are "more happier" Dancer that's all that matters... ;o)~

What I like the most is beating teams that on paper we should not be on the field with due to their superior players.

Went 21-23 in one session. The only outs made were fielder's choices when one was scorcher off F5's chest and the other when F6 was able to make a play in the hole on a force at 3B both times. Nobody on base and it would have been 23-23.

That was the only time anyone keeps stats, but I doubt every seriously I've ever done better.

All these averages are commendable! I would be more celebratory had my team won a championship. Does is really matter if you go 21-23 or 25-25 if you don't win the championship? Maybe you did...I don't know the entire story.

Stattad, maybe a couple of the hits may have not gotten past a Major plus player,of course I never seen a major plus player and only guessing, because I heard they are good. Most of the hits were to the right side over the infield and sometimes up the middle. This was in league ball.
XLR8, No championship, in fact, the team was second on the bottom in standings. But it was one of the best teams I ever played for. They were always at peace and try to stay positive, I really like the team manager, he ran the team and was a leader too. Even though the team suck, I would play for them again because I had fun. Maybe that is why I hit so well last season, I was in a relax atmosphere.

Here's what I have control over, how well I hit. I have no control over how the rest of my guys hit. I don't have to celebrate hitting well and not winning, but going 25-25 is still an accomplishment. As is 21-23.
