Posting on here because the other associations don't have a forum and is directed to only a certain few weasels. This is directed to the pathetic jealousy of certain managers and state directors who when they had certain players on their own teams played politics to keep their team in a lower level yet when the players leave to go to another team then all of sudden they are calling directors to get the new team moved up. Your pathetic and don't have the manhood to speak directly to people and instead go behind their backs to cry to the associations. When you use your political clout to get the rules changed that all other teams are governed by and held standard to, your nothing but a sniveling coward.

I agree you have every right to post and complain BUT
how about your real name and the person you are referring too so all of us will know it....

It's a political situation and those who are connected are too scared to admit what they did and instead remain comfortably anonymous cloaked with their clout. They know who they are and they are backstabbers who were more then happy to use their connections for their own benefit. I would like to be more direct however the risk of ruining future ball for a lot of guys isn't fair to them. It's not right what's going. However for the record even though we're going the short end of the deal, we're men and won't run from a challenge because that's not what competitiveness is about. We just wished we would be judged the same way as any other team would and the criteria for moving was the same. We love the senior game and enjoy playing.

B.J. ... No "Oliver Stone Moment" conspiracy here ... This does not have anything to do with the team's SSUSA rating ...

I just dont get why any time someone states something it has to have a name to it.

What does anyone's name have to do with the statement. I see it on so many softball boards.

Hell LE dispatch dont say thanks for the tip but since you dont have a name to give us we wont believe it.

I have no dog in raiderman66 post but I just dont see why a name must be assigned to thoughts, opinions and or actual events. you shouldn't have to subject yourself to possible retaliation just to be a whistle blower.

Guess I am just a little more old school than you. If you are going to complain, degrade or even talk crap to someone on a message board why not have the stones to say the person's name and sign your name. I guess some people reading this post know what's going on, but others don't. If you can't own it and are afraid of retaliation you probably shouldn't post it. Things are just more credible when a person signs his name and points out the wrongdoers.

DBax did it and he got screwed, but he signed his name and pointed out the person who wronged him..

Sorry I just refuse to live in fear of anything especially retaliation. And this isn't like LE dispatch because there aren't any MESSAGE BOARD COPS coming to save the day....

raiderman66: my assumption is that you are speaking about either ISSA or SPA but it's confusing because I don't believe either of those associations have "state directors". Now based on a little homework, you guys had a GREAT tourney in TN and won going undefeated in bracket play and winning by an average of over 10 runs per game. Now it looks like you were moved up based on that result OR possibly guys who play with you came from another team whose manager wasn't too happy that his guys left to play with you and spoke with Greg or RB and you think that was the reason you got moved up? Not a politician but would rather believe it was the result on the field and not the latter but I have been wrong before.

Like you said, keep playing hard for the love of the game and good luck in Roanoke!

I hear you Ben, just seen too many people get quieted for fear of either team or individual punishment. Not here but in general. My old job used to do it all the time. If a line officer would complain in a group they would be asked to speak to a sup privately. The sups would keep the individual complaints behind closed doors but often there were 20 more staff that had the same complaint and if they knew others felt the same way they might speak up.
For softball I see a board as a way to weed out an individual complaints compared to a group complaints.
Lets say I had a problem with running to first on a hit instead of 3rd. If I was the only one then hey its something I have to accept but if 1000 players agreed with me then maybe a rule change could be reviewed.
I think all softball sanctions should have a player panel that accepts complaints, suggestions etc and they meet each year with the powers that be.
