Wanting to buy a Red Senior Anaconda Combat Softball bat. Does anyone have input on this Combat bat. I have broke my other senior combat. Just wanted to know if this one would last a little longer. I like short barrel bats.

Have you tried this bat? If so, what is your feedback?

Bob, Although I myself have not swung (swang?) the new red Combat, several guys on our team (Boaz/ASI) have and really like it. If you know Bill McDaniel, he has hit some serious bombs with this bat and Bill Valadez has been hitting very well with it.

I do not prefer the shorter barrel bats but I'm thinking of at least giving it a chance! I still swing the EL Blue Combat.

Best of luck to you and GSF in Minnesota. LL

I echo your feelings as I prefer longer barrels as well. I did witness Kevin from Anaconda hitting with it in Carson City. However, he appears able to hit with a rake handle. If you do try it, let me know how you feel about it.
... good luck to you guys in Boaz.
Perhaps we'll see you in AZ?

I believe that the LVSSA has the 60s and 55s playing on different weekends.

Bob, no, I haven't hit the red Sr Combat. From the talk on the other board, it will take longer to break-in. Besides that I have no knowledge of the bat.
