Thanks for the info. Looks like our litle ol' AA may have a very tough time, but we still get to play! Joe should have the schedules decided this morning and he said a couple of days ago that the tournament may start later than 10 a.m.

Hey Steve,

Your little ol AA team is a handfull and will make it tough for some if you guys are on your game.
Gald to see you guys are going to be there.
Hope you have a good tournament just not against us.
We are going to have 17 guys there but two are injured and can't play. Our best is out of town but hopefully someone will pick up the slack.

Good luck

SAG, that is a very good number as you can bat a maximum of 15 in NSA play. You know that the scorekeepers don't count anyway. Our team won't be there, but we know that you will give them all a good run for their money. Good luck to all playing.

Anyone going to the ISA World Series instead? I know of a couple of teams from Indiana and Illinois going, but I have not heard much else.

Nancy,

As far as we are concerned the teams to beat are the Classics and Monster. The Classics have not lost a tournament all year and Rabbit always brings a winner when he gets his teams together. The Monster team is very, very good and they added John Hayes to their roster. He will help them a bunch. Like they needed another great hitter.

Of course there is always the unranked put together teams of major plus players that show up. You never know who is showing up in these NSA AAA tournaments.

I'm sure the other teams going are good also or they would not be there. I know the Silverhawks are a new team and we have played them several times this year. Those boys can hit the ball and are tough for anybody to beat.

It should be a great tournament. Last year our game with the Jags was the most intense and fun game we played all year. We lost and were pissed but it was fun and they are a great bunch of guys.

Good luck

Jerry Carter........I'm playing with Monster Softball. Too bad you guys aren't coming. Mike Hancock played an earlier tournament with us. It's hard for him to play because of his Sunday commitment. We play together in the Sr. League here. I'll be in Cincy Labor Day for the Naz. Nat'l. It'll be my 25th consecutive year. We always enjoy our time there.
Are you going to Dalton, GA. for the SPA Nationals in September? Maybe we'll see you there.

It's good to see that Tater is getting a chance to play. Great hitter. I'll be playing with Scrap Iron 50's. Our first game is at 1:00. They must of backed up the time. It's better than 10:00am. Looks like we'll have a good tourneyment with 8 teams. Let's hope the weather holds out.

Hey Steve, it is always great fun to play Kaysons. You are a great team with a lot of class. Just wish we could win one against you! And Lefty, you are our secret weapon; don't give away our secrets! Sorry I missed your call last night, Joe. Took a nap, Overslept. Almost missed my double-header.

Dale...we, don't play ANY SPA...decided not to this year.
We're playing in the Eastern Nationals in Elgin, Ill...Aug.10-12th. THEN, Labor Day in Burlington, NC..ASA...that's it!
Not a lot of committment from the guys this year...pretty disheartning for most of us!
I know, U and I understand Mike's situation..he loves the game but..............he does what he can and has to decide what he really has to do...tell Mike..HOWDY for me...came in 2nd over in Manassas, ISF...gave the ring away..oh well...another day! haha...
Best to u guys in Gadsden, Al...have some fun for me this weekend...
NO...we're not coming to Dalton, GA..
I'll be in NC when you come up for the Naz Nationals in Cincy....sorry..have a great time....
