While I disagree with the 9 out of 10 thing I do believe we should police the game. We don't need the association spending $3000 or more for some machine what we need is for each team to have one guy who will check their teams bats and take care of the problem.

Guys we are grown men. We know what should be done and what is right and wrong. We also know we can take care of the problem. If the association have to buy this machine then it will cost us all more money to play.

One last thought if the players are willing to do this then we need those associations who have a tendency to use the worst softballs ever to also jump on board and use good softballs. All anyone wants is a decent softball and not a cheap piece of crap.

Walk: Yea buddy. I for one will take full responsibility for all bats used by the Kelly's Sports team. I will check all bats before each game and that includes any bats that are left in the ball bags as well. My guys won't give me any static and if i find a funny bat, i can guarantee all other teams out there that it gets put away and the player with it will be given 2 options. Never bring it or anything like it to any more of our events or Hit the road and i will remove them from our team. Regadrless of how we do at the Worlds this year, we will be using 100% legit bats.
Thanks Bruce for stepping up and leading the way here.
Any other concerned players out there who believe in fair play that will step up to make sure we all get a fair game.
