When they're done ... There's been a bit of a "circumstances out of my control" delay issue today ... Hopefully that won't take too many days to cure ...

Any chance we can just find out what time the first 50M+ game is? Our team is trying to determine if we need to be there Wednesday might or Thursday.

McDilly 42. I can help you on this one. Dave's rule of thumb is that every team should be ready to play at 8AM on Thursday. Or wait until the brackets are posted.

Good luck

McDilly42 ... Absent any info on who you play with, the best I can do is the "generic" answer as Benji4 accurately mentioned ... The 14-Team 50-Major+ division will be playing at Arroyo Grande ... They do not allow us to play weekday games after 2:00 PM because of local league restrictions ... Plan on morning games on Thursday and Friday ... If your manager has filed a "later start request" with the SSUSA office, that will generally keep you out of an 8:00 AM game ... But no guarantees beyond that ... Good luck ...

I was also curious to understand when the 40s schedule would be released as we are getting pretty close to the start of the event. I tried asking on another thread, specific to the tourney schedule, and it was deleted.

I'm sure the schedules are being built as we speak. The other age groups play 4 day tourneys. Pool games only on day 1 with brackets beginning the morning of day 2. The 40s group is a 3 day session so you should expect longer days at the park. Day 1 = Pool games in the morning and a bracket game in the late afternoon / early evening timeframe. Saturday = long day. Sunday = Champ games around 2:00pm with the "IF" games to follow.

Thanks, Dave. I play on AZ Heat 50s. We'll be ready for an 8am game if necessary.

McD ... Now that I know which hat you wear, I'll tag your team for as late as I can get ... It won't be 8:00 PM, but it won't be 8:00 AM, either! ... Travel safely and good luck!
