Oct. 24 OLDBUCK23 Men's 60 62 posts | TV Trivia 5 What actor named Mickey played the part of Porky ? |
Oct. 24 OLDBUCK23 Men's 60 62 posts | TV Trivia 5 Scratch the previous question. What actor named Mickey replaced Porky ? He is alive today. His best acting job ever was in a courtroom, in my opinion. |
Oct. 24 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | TV Trivia 5 I think the answer is that murderer, Robert Blake. I don't know if his name is Mickey though. The movie you are referring to is In Cold Blood. He played in the Lil' Rascals. |
Oct. 24 OLDBUCK23 Men's 60 62 posts | TV Trivia 5 Right on. Mickey Gubitosi first appeared in the series " Our Gang" in 1939. His character ," Mickey, " replaced the character of " Porky " when actor Eugene Lee became to old to fit the series. In 1942, Mickey Gubitositook the stage name of Bobby Blake. The character then became known as " Mickey Blake." Later on,the actor took the stage name of Robert Blake. Blake is probably best known for his work in the detective series " Baretta." He appeared in the movie ' In Cold Blood" He was later accused of killing his con artist wife Bobbi Bakley but was later acquitted. Many feel that was his best acting performance which got him acquitted. I'm done... I've gotta get a life ! Out !!!! |
