| Oct. 2 Joncon 328 posts | Well...there is only one guitarist from that band....it's named after him. If you listen you can tell who it is. When everyone else was listening to Hendrix, Page and Clapton, I was listening to him. Very understated. His guitar never dominated the music. |

Did some work with Guns N Roses was actually supposed to tour with them blown out ear drums stopped it. Never heard of the guy. Understated the dude blew the doors off of stadium roofs when I saw him. Heard some demo stuff he did with Guns n Roses nothing understated about it. |

| Oct. 3 Joncon 328 posts | I didn't think the G&R clip was very good. Jeff Beck's guitar WAS understated......in thet video also. He got in a few licks around the 4 minute mark but it was predominately Slash's guitar playing the same ryhthm part over and over, dominating the jam. What I always like about him is that he never simply turned up his volume to dominate the music. He was a PART of it. One of you clowns is up next :) And.......If any of you do not have the 2 JB Group albums with Rod Stewart as the vocalist (Truth and Beckola),........... get them. |
