No Dice western states champs has been denied playing for the 55AAA national title against syracuse merchants 55AAAeastern champs because they have been moved to majors after the western nationals. The runnerup team from the west Over the Edge has been selected to play for the National championship. BUT NO Dice has been informed they will be a national champ and we can order our rings. Has any other team out there been denied a title game and been told they have been declared champions and can order their rings without playing a game?

The IDENTICAL fact pattern happened last year (2007). Michael Valerio, CPA (MI) and the Vancouver Merchants (WA) each won the 50-AAA Divisions in the East and West Nationals, respectively. After the West Nationals, the Vancouver Merchants team was re-rated to 50-Major and participated in that Division at the 2007 World Championships. BOTH teams were declared co-national champions in the 50-AAA and received the Champions awards and the ring option as such. This is not a new circumstance.

I guess SSUSA is admitting to making the same mistake twice. LOL! This thread will be removed, like some others. This National Champion thing is a total joke! Giving teams rings and not letting them play. That is why I do not care about rings, MVPs, All-Tourneys, because it just becomes a farce. It is nice to get these things and recognition, but only if earned and deserved. So play the damn games already, or do not have these West/East games. Is this like the Phillies beating the Dodgers to play in the World Series, but the Commissioner of softball(ooppss, I mean baseball), says let the 2nd place Dodgers go instead and play the winner of the American League?? Or should we just give both teams World Series rings?? You decide! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duke, You sound pretty upset with the SSUSA management. Maybe you should start a new National Softball organization and show everyone how to do it right. My team would play. Anybody else? Terry Ohio Silverados

Hey Terrymac,

Not so much as I was earlier in the year. Come on by and say hi in Phoenix. We will be at some park called Mountain View or Mountain Vista, (55Majors)! A new organization is already in the talking stages, and your input and support would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else is welcome too! I do not really want to discuss another organization on SSUSA's board. Not a cool thing to do. Let's not do that here, thanks!
