Craig Gahring, Another good friend lost
I am saddened to report that our good friend Craig Gahring passed away this morning. I considered Craig a good friend. He always looked for opportunities for me, and he was always friendly and giving to others. He loved senior softball and spent many weekends running or participating in tournaments. I will miss him, as I am sure many others will too.

I saw Craig on Saturday at The Yard. We were cuttin' up as usual. he was anxious to get back to playing. I've taken BP with Craig, spent alot of time with him away from the field. To say I'm heartbroken doesn't begin to explain my feelings. He was a great person and heaven has gained another great player.

Prayers to his wife and family.

Words cannot express the saddness that my family, the players and families of Top Gun Softball and the Senior Softball community feel at the loss of a friend, teammate and fellow competitor. To Craig's family we extend our thoughts and prayers on the loss of a quality individual. Craig's wife Sue will be communicating with his friends in senior softball as time permits. I know that I'll miss seeing Craig on the field for many years to come.

Craig, Big Man,Big Heart,Big in his Love of this Game we all shared with him! I am stunned and sadden to hear of his passing.Martha's and my hearts goes out to Sue and family. Many of us in Senior Softball knew Craig particuarly in Southern California. He was envolved in all aspects of our game, Manager,Player,Cheerleader,Mentor. He did all this because he loved the game and the comraderie we all share. His booming laugher and presences will be missed. But his legacy will live on as we all honor his memory by coninuing to play this GAME he and we shared with unbridled Enthusiam and Love. God Bless Craig, and God Bless Sue and Family

I saw Craig this last weekend at the Yard in Fullerton, he was watching one of our games and we had a nice discussion about the games and we talked about softball bats. Craig was the first person who talked to me about senior softball. He was running a tournament in Chino and my team had entered it. We got to talking he found out I was rapidly closing in on 50 and asked me to keep him in mind when I was ready to play senior ball. My condolences to his family and friends.

I don’t know what to say, I’m just blown away by this. Craig’s the second good friend from softball that I’ve lost in the last few months. We played together on the BaseHawgs teams for about 3 years. The last time I saw him was either December or January in Menifee, and he got a couple of nice hits against us. I will miss kidding with him on and off the field, and I’ll also miss the heart games with Sue. If anyone has any information on the services for Craig, please post a phone number or website. Thank you.

I also saw Craig this past Saturday at the Yard in Fullerton. He told me about his pacemaker operation and that he was looking forward to getting back out on the field in about 2 months.

I am shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. He has been a big part of the softball community here in So. Cal. I am thankful to have known him and for the opportunity to play with him on his Full Count team.

My best to Susan and his family.

Like many of us, I am saddened to hear of Craig's passing. A teddy bear of a guy with the big voice and a great love for the game. I met Craig about a year and a half ago when he welcomed me onto his Full Count team at the Winter Worlds in Vegas. Although the team disbanded, I still play with many of the guys from that team and have Craig to thank for the introductions and friendships. He will be missed.

My condolences to Susan, his family, and all that knew him.

A wonderful warm hearted man that will be missed physically, but will live on forever in our hearts.

He was a special friend and will be missed.

I played for him and against him, always a gentleman on and off the field, always had time to talk with you.

God bless!
