To the local folks, How good are these fields with rain? Weather forecast is not real good for this Tourney. Hopefully the grounds crew works on weekends!

The sun was out all day today. The Gallitin parks want this tourney to happen so they'll everything possible. It looks like great weather for Sat. and Sunday. The weather hear was suppose to be a 40 per cent chance today and all I seen was the sun. So just cause it said it's going to rain doesn't mean it will rain.

Thanks Lefty, I want this tourney to happen to cause its so close for the teams here in KY. Question, I belive the SPA tourney for 1st weekend in May was canceled in 2008 due to the low number of teams, was it a go this year? There is 7 travel teams here in Louisville area that have a hard time getting enough players due to the Derby plus there is a senior tourney in Indy same weekend. If Gallitin would move their date they would get a lot of teams from KY and IN. I've tried to get them to change date of Derby with no luck.lol Maybe I'll get a chance to talk to Page Jackson this weekend, I think she runs Triple Creek park. Hope the Sun keeps shinning and everone has a safe weekend.

I'm playing with a local team Perfect Pay. Put together from mostly oldtimers for this tour. Practiced last night fields were in great shape. But have some spots that will not drain well. Some fields are new and will be used for the first time. Hopefully Lefty(Joe)is right. It is widely scattered rain. Good luck to all of you.
