| Aug. 16, 2009 taits Men's 65 4000 posts | Supposed to be. What's going on Gary, you going to buy another "special" bat, Not special, just legal for that league or tournament I'b bet. Enjoy it. |
| Aug. 16, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | taits, I am thinking of it. Of course they are "special", who under 50 can legally use it? I will use them if others can legally, still don't see the point to it, but if it is legal I can play along. BTW, thank for the info. |
| Aug. 16, 2009 taits Men's 65 4000 posts | Your welcome. Might be a placebo for some as well. |
| Aug. 18, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | Agreed, it might very well be. |
| Aug. 18, 2009 Al33 Men's 55 185 posts | Dirty, I have both bats. I do like them both. They claim the material is the same with the only exception being balanced versus end loaded. There is definitely a different feel with maxload. The ball still jumps though. My only recommendation would be to drop down an ounce with the maxload so you can maintain your bat speed. |
| Aug. 18, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | That is exactly what I was thinking of doing. From a 29 down to a 28. Thanks. |
| Aug. 18, 2009 ROOSTER10 Men's 60 94 posts | It seems the endload is breaking faster than black ultra II.They do not make a 29 oz endloaded . I bought a 30oz which is much too heavy to swing . Some players have only got 100 + swings before they broke.I will say one thing they are hot out of the wrapper!! |
| Aug. 19, 2009 Al33 Men's 55 185 posts | They definitely don't need a break in period. I am only using the max load in games. No batting practice. I have hit balls farther with the regular balanced Ultra II but with the max load the ball seems to still fly even with a slighty miss hit. I'm 6'4" and 240 lbs. I'm swinging a 26 oz. max load and swing a 27 oz. balanced. |
