I got a coritizone injection from Kaiser 2 weeks ago for my "whacked" shoulder and wow, what a difference.
The doc said I had impingement and I thought it was dislocated.
Night and day since the injection.
Some guys said it will where off but I can tell, some serious healing has taken place.
If this stuff is bad for you and illegal we should all be in prison.

I have a knee that gets cortizone twice a year. Problem is cortizone only mask the pain. Doesn't heal the injury, you'll feel like a million bucks early on, it'll wear off shortly, mean while you're causing more damage to the injury because you can't feel thepain telling you to STOP.

Knee replacement scheduled for late April 2005.

In 94'; I was the Super/Field Engineer for the Condos @ Atlanta Racetrack. I had to walk many floors each day. My heel was so sore with a growth that I was going to have to quit. I had heard pros & cons about cortisone, so the pain was so great that I decided to go it. The needle was very painful, but have never had a problem since that day.

I get a shot in each knee four times a year. The shot does wear off at about the 8 week mark but it is better than my other choice which is knee replacements.

I also had my left shoulder done twice last year and it is still going great on just those two.
