| April 26, 2010 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | One more (last?) try,,...... For those who can be straight-forward and not full of rhetoric, what makes a tournament a "national"? The TD says it is one? |
| April 26, 2010 Dbax Men's 60 1149 posts | Straight forward, it's just a name and no one gives a crap. |
| April 26, 2010 stacks59 Men's 50 23 posts | Please-get a life...quit wasting space No one person really cares about your asinine comments... Just shut up and play--bottom line, the common factor is that they are all still tournaments. |
| April 26, 2010 Corky Men's 55 435 posts | It's not rocket science....follow the money trail......Put "National" in the title, and presumably more teams = mo $$$. The ideal situation would be those who qualify get invites to a real "National" Just my humble opinion |
| April 26, 2010 Jawood Men's 50 742 posts | It is ridiculous that all these tournaments are called "Nationals" but I would rather have that than no place to play until October in Phoenix. |
| April 26, 2010 E4/E6 Men's 60 847 posts | While Phoenix is a great tournament, The TOC is SSUSA's only true National and is how it should be. You win your way in by winning a National or a Major SSUSA sponsored event. |
| April 26, 2010 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | Corky, Jawood, and E4/E6, Thanks for not being so insecure, defensive, and thin-skinned about my question and topic. Much appreciated! :) |
| April 26, 2010 Jawood Men's 50 742 posts | Dirty, If you look back at the other thread, you will find I AGREED with your points. I thought we were giving our final though on this issue before moving on to something else! |
| April 26, 2010 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | So did I, but then Bob and curveball jumped me for having the "nerve" to ask the question. |
| April 26, 2010 VINNY LV Men's 50 137 posts | WHY IS THERE SO MUCH DRAMA INVOLVED IN SOFTBALL IS WHAT MY WIFEY KEEPS ASKING ME????????? CAN ANYBODY ANSWER THIS WITH A STRAIGHT FACE??????? SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY ???????? |
| April 26, 2010 E4/E6 Men's 60 847 posts | Vin, as with anything written the reader can read what he likes into what is written. Very easy to read between the lines or rip someone that is just trying to get a point across. Very easy to misinterpret the written word compared to a verbal conversation. Clear as mud isnt it. =) Women invented drama, so Im not surprised the Wife recognized it. |
