| May 1, 2010 Lefty Men's 65 387 posts | Senior Geezer How well does the Senior Geezer hit. I have Utrip Juice and it hits well after it breaks in well. |
| May 1, 2010 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | lefty i have never hit it,but hearing from some who have they say its an ok bat,not u2 like but better than utrip bats. |
| May 2, 2010 einstein Men's 50 3142 posts | It feels funky and is short barreled but the senior geezer hits as good or better than an U2. They can take some getting used to, though but the barrel hits as good or better than any senior bat. I heard their out of production. |
| May 3, 2010 Lefty Men's 65 387 posts | Thanks Maddog and einstein I baught one on ebay for $120 this pass weekend. From what I read on SF bat reveiw 95% of the guys like the bat. The ones that didn't like the geezer said they didn't like the feel. I can relate to that. I'll be in Pensacola on May 14. Good balls and we always have a good time playing their. | May 4, 2010 southpaw Men's 60 648 posts | Hey Joe, just wondering. How many bats have you broken and/or bought this year?!! |
| May 4, 2010 einstein Men's 50 3142 posts | Just one. A Freak Plus that I have had forever. It finally went in BP. I've hit bowling balls, parking meters, television sets, rednecks and Republicans with it, and though hard to believe for some, it never cracked but finally went, hitting wet balls in Antioch. (Officially, no rednecks or republicans were injured in the making of this commercial) I have learned the cardinal rule of senior bats... never swing a senior bat in bp. |
| May 4, 2010 Lefty Men's 65 387 posts | Steve hope to see you in Pensacola. Baught a XXX Senior. Hits well I hit one over with it my 4th time at bat. Hits well but light. Should of baught a 29oz. I've got a Geezer coming in at the end of the week. Broke my Super Freak, the second one 120 swings. The Mikens and I don't seem to get a long. I'm trying just to buy Easton bats for Utrip. They hit maybe 10ft shorter than an Ultra after broken end. I can get them between 330ft. and 340ft. over. An they last a while with BP. |
| May 8, 2010 oneofeleven18 Men's 50 51 posts | Lefty: I had a Geezer and I felt it hit good after a couple of BP sessions but never felt like it had good distance. I saw a Veteran senior bat on ebay today starting at $39.95 and buy it now for $99. She states used on time. Maybe at $39.95, may be a good deal!!! |
| May 8, 2010 Lefty Men's 65 387 posts | I went to see if the Geezer was broke in. I was on an open field since our ball parks in my area are all damaged from the flood. The bat hit alright didn't fiel like was broke in much. I'll hit some BP with tomorrow. It's either going to hit like an Ultra or it will die. |
| May 9, 2010 einstein Men's 50 3142 posts | Lefty. Any bat can be a dud but some of the bats that take a while to break in become awesome. Keep hitting it and turning it in BP and it will either explode or become a great bat. |
| May 9, 2010 Lefty Men's 65 387 posts | Well Joe the Geezer opened up today and to me it hits just a well as any bat out there. Saying that it looks like it has a 12 inch barrel not a 13 or 14 inch like the rest of the ultra bats. I like it but when I buy another one it will be a 28oz instead of a 26oz. Swings a little light. I'm glad a baught it. |
