tourney, had a great time played 7 games, congrats to the dallas spurs for their win by double dipping austin tanel(sorry kenny had to bring it up,LOL).didn't hear any crying b/c balls weren't gong out of the park b/c of the heat and fences any wheres from 300' to 320'(most fields were irregular shape).did talk to some people and the majority that i talked to wouldn't mind the change to a safer ball.we talked and about the 52-275 ball, and i related the last 2 tourneys i had played with the kids using this ball and explained how it was very acceptable to use.i batted .700 with it,so you so called hr hitters should have no prol hitting it.i feel if you are a real hitter the ball does not make a difference, unless your scared to show that you are not a real hitter and only look to swing as hard as you can only.also you so called hr hitters who have to go middle b/c you don't have hrs left to hit wouldn't have to worry about killing someone.personally i think that if you only go middle b/c of no hrs left is pretty stupid, and petty.i can hit hrs but do not just hit middle when they are used up,i use the whole field and i'm not a m/m+ hitter like all you big time hr hitters, hit the dang ball where it is pitched and quit crying.

MAD DOG- cool it there brother ! i think the heat affected your mind to come out so strong against the big boys. i have not hit this particular ball ball yet ( 52-275 ), but if it performs as well as the one we used in college station this weekend, that's good enough for me. see ya in irving next month. your compadre! frank

mad dog......no problem.you guys earned it !!!!!!!!!GOOD JOB.........we have several players who are NOT hitting the ball...it's slow pitch softball, you have to hit to win...........several mishandled balls didn't help either...

Good job, CONGRAULATIONS !!!!!!!! and hope to see you in Irving..........

yep kenny you are right on that, one misplayed ball can lead to a win for the other team.
frankie you need to hit to be able to play with the 52-275 ball, and not be looking at the fence all the time.like i've said i have played 2 tourney's with the kids, and there was no prol with the ball for them or myself for that matter.
the only prol i would say with the 52-275 ball there would be no more 400' shots, but who cares, fences are at 300 most of the time,320 max.

One complaint about College Station.......the umpiring wasn't real good, some had no knowledge of the line at home plate, ( not a clue ) , the orange bag at first base, ( not a clue ) and lastly, some completely changed their arch limits..........But having said that, I repeat the Dallas Spurs over 60 deserved to win.....they just out hit us...see you in Irving for a rematch...unless ya'll are bumped up to MAJOR ! LOL

yeah umping at times was suspect, kenny.on that play at home i ask the field ump what instructions they were given for the line (since we had no plate),like did a foot have to be on he ground or just breaking the plane,he said they weren't given any.
we will be in Irving.any of your guys doing the 35+ states there in Georgetown this weekend.
