Bob, The NV Force will not be going to Dalton this year. Our pitcher that was going had a death in the family and will not be able to travel. We had a outfielder who injured himself and cannot attend which gave us eleven players. We tried to fill the spots and work with SPA but the outfield spot was filled but none of our other pitchers could attend and we could not find a add on for the spot. I have never been to this tourney and was looking forward to it. There is always next year. Thanks Harry

Bob, We were in Burlington N.C. when we found out about our shortage of players. We made a few phone calls but nothing could be done. We have 4 pitchers on the roster and I think because of back to back traveling weekends it is hard to do that for some guys. most of our guys are still working and it is hard to take off so much. 2 guys drive school buses and this is their first week back to work. I guess it was not meant to be. Thanks Harry kbl, It was nice to meet you in Burlington .I believe you guys won the 60s AA. Congratulations.

no that wasn't me birdie(i'm with the dallas spurs AAA).yeah we still have guys working, but it seems our age group always has to play on fridays(mostly SPA)and still have to be there till sunday.it costs us 1 more day of lodging while the others only have 2 days,we get stuck with 3 days.

well good luck for the rest of the year.

Bob, I was referring to kbl (Ken) that I met in Burlington. Good luck to you and your team the rest of the year. What we wouldn't do to play a game. Harry

Harry, I'm disappointed that NVF won't be able to make Dalton. I was looking forward to "hydrating" with you and the guys. Hope your season continues to go well. Mel

The 60 AAA Tennessee Legends will be there. I believe that IDC, 60 AAA, will be there also. This has been a well attended tournament in the past. I imagine that there are a number of teams that plan on being there that have not weighed in. Georgia Alabama Masters have been reclassified as AAA, but I'm not sure if they are coming or not. How about it, Hitman? Are you guys coming? Hombre

seems to me that the GAME TIME SCHEDULES would have been posted by now for DALTON 60-AAA'S. i hope we get a good turnout for our bracket. would be great to play against teams we never get a chance to see. best of luck to all, hope we get great weather while we are there. ( frank a. DALLAS SPURS 60-AAA ).

SPA's website apologizes for the delay......late entries, favoritism from Ridge again?.....and says they'll be posted Tuesday night. Seems they intend to inconvenience everyone except themselves. "They can do that"

Mel, We will miss going to Dalton. I was looking forward to sharing a bucket of beer with you.
Frank, I agree with you about playing other teams. It seems like all we ever do is play against the same teams at ever tourney. I am highly disappointed that the NVF is not going. Thanks Harry

Hombre,
We are going to the SouthEastern Championships next week in Orlando. Having to wait 3 months for ruling on appeal by SPA, we just made other plans and then it was too late for Dalton.
Good Luck,

The Hitman
