Oct. 20 leftybob Men's 60 109 posts | Noticed that the Veteran Senior GBA has a 1.21 bpf stamp on it. Is this bat approved for Senior Softball. |
Oct. 20 madsenior 54 posts | Yes it is. |
Oct. 20 canIjack Men's 60 322 posts | 1.21 is approved for SPA but not for LVSS. I'm was able to use my Boombah Cannon(made by Combat), which is 1.205 bpf in the SPA(Dalton,Ga) but not in Las Vegas this year. |
Oct. 20 leftybob Men's 60 109 posts | Is the bat approved for use in SSUSA? |
Oct. 20 Marv19 Men's 60 498 posts | Not sure but I think if LVSSA did not allow the bat it would be because they are going by the old rating of 1.20 bpf. The new SSUSA senior bat standard is 1.21 We at the SCSSA have taken on the Veteran bat and the new Spirit to sell in So. Cal. If the bat was not legal we would not have made a commitment to sell it. www.socalssa.com |
Oct. 21 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | marv19 is right, since the test is now made with a lesser ball, they upped the bpf rating to `1.21,sounds stupid to me,we the oldest group of players getting hotter equipment. |
