Congrats go out to the Boise club who came through the loosers bracket to win it all. A 12 and 1 record and 5 straight games sunday was what it took for them to pull off this acheivement.
Nicely done men'

Congradulations boys! You did what you had to do, scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the seventh in the first game against us, We just had to many injurys with 11 guys and couldn't match the momentum you guys had. See you next year n AAA.

Any one know anything about the fight during the East v. West game. I was told teammates on the East team were fighting with each other. Is this a rumor or true ?? They where tossed from the tournament but later allowed back in ??

I am new to the message sight but not to the game of senior softball. Sounds like Local is trying to stir up a little negative to a well run tournament. With 300+ teams in the tourn. their may be a few disputes but what I had seen form the several fields and teh divisions, there was much frienships made and new cultural exchanges between the East teams and the many players from the Hispanic player community. Terry H. does a very good job in playing the east against west in the RR. Local, you kneed to look on the positive side of softball. Too many good things offered to people of our age. If you can't, I would suggest you to look into a proffeison with the news media. they are pretty good in offering negativitys. Our team enjoyed completly the tourn. and the making of new friends. sure disputes among players, umpires, fans but that makes the enjoyment of the game. hope to see all of my new friends next yr. in seattle. Have a good off season.

The fight was between the Mgr of the Dayton team and on of his own players. They threw the Dayton team out of the tourny, but they talked their way back in by throwing the manager off the team! It was not a fight between the 2 teams.

Gentlemen...what happened in Phoenix was VERY UNFORTUNATE, no one but the PLAYERS from that team know the circumstances. NOTHING on the board is correct about the situation. Things were handled by the team and the TD in a PROPER MANNER that every player in Phoenix would have been satisfied.

USA Nationals score
Dayton Legends 13
Yeagers Sporting Goods 12

Thank you to EVERYONE for the great times in Phoenix, TDs did an excellent job for field conditions, umpires were awesome! Thanks guys and thank you Terry H. for a GREAT TOURNAMENT....

Cat, I thought it was a great tournament. If I heard the rumor that means others did too. If there was a fight between teams or players we should clear the air and have someone who has first hand knowledge explain what happened. Nothing worst than a nasty rumor. I was hoping my question might prompt a response and it did and now I know what happened as do other players. End of story. Fields were awesome. The teams we played had both very good players and were just plain old good guys.

If all it takes is a fight to get your manager thrown off the team then Iím ready to go 10 rounds right now.
