45+ looking to Join team.
I am a former Men's Major player from 1985-2000. I played 2B, 1B, P, C for DJ's (Kansas), Williams (Texas), Coors Atkins (Kansas), Premier Sports (Arizona), Professional Choice (California), Insulators (Vegas), Harrison Powerflight (Florida). I hit for power with a lifetime batting average over .700 at the Major level. I have won a few World Championships from the "A", "AA", "AAA", and "SUPER MAJOR" divisions. Over 50 "All Tournament" selections, 7 "All World" or "All American" selections. ASA Super World Series Batting Champion 1993 (.950). Last played in ASIA (Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand) for Team Nike World Team (3 World Championships).
Looking to play at the 45+ Level but have been out of the softball world while my kids have been growing up and know very little about senior softball.

You are limited as far as where you can play based on the SSUSA organization's bordering states rule.

I am very interested in playing again competitively. How do I go about getting on a team. Does this mean that I can only play for a team that borders Arizona?

This message board is a good way to reach out to other teams if you are looking. I would suggest you look at the online rule book on this web site and familiarize yourself with the rules. I would also suggest looking at the team ratings for the age division you want to play in and see where those teams are lcoated. The majority of 45+ competitive teams are based out of California. You might also try contacting the SSUSA office for team manager contact information.

Flashflood: check out the theoldscout.com web site. They have a message board. Jeff White (Arizona) I am sure you know who he is frequents that board and he plays i think 40's and 50's in Arizona still to this day.

I am sure he can find you a team in Arizona

Sorry have no email. I posted on that site for him to look you up.
