How many out there would be willing to give World Softball League (WSL) a try next season in the senior divisions? Have anyone played WSL yet? Any parks or complexes looking for or need any dates filled in (MI, IN, IL, OH, KY, MO).

WSL tried this about 6 years ago in Panama City, Fl. There were only a couple of 50 AAA teams and only 1 50M+ team.
I'm sure they would find teams that would like to compete, more if they allowed senior bats, much as R B Thomas found in his ISF and ISSA associations when he allowed senior bats.

this is what we need , thin out the already thin tournaments that we all attend now. there needs to be more quality tournaments by our existing org. than to have one more org. that weakens the ones we go to now. here in Texas SPA and SSUSA have some of there tournaments on the same weekend or to close together to make a group of larger divisions. just my thoughts

Because they don't wok together LP. Are you saying everyone should wait until one of your favorite organizations have a tourney to play. Common sense should be used by all of the associations to make sure that they don't compete on or for the same weekend. USSSA does not care one bit about SSUSA, SPA, ISSA or any other senior group. They have all the other divisions. I don't think any of the senior groups now are ready to go back to back to back weekends for their tourys, but there are teams that would consider it. It's not the number of associations, it's would be the quality and how they are run that will make the difference. JMO

Are you referring to the one that was started by Chris Salsbury roughly 10 years ago out of CA but expand all over?

I believe it was named something else also at the time and he had directors in different states that run the tournaments there.

Not sure who started it, but a gentleman named Nathan Kendrick owns the WSL.

I was wrong about about 10 years ago it was more like in 2003 or slightly later.
Logo changed, I see that. But it changes twice i know of back when also.
There was a dispute over name back then that is why name changes.
But WSL was wrapped up in it.
Do not recall person you mention but do remember the had Boombah as a sponsor. I knew Chris pretty well back then.
Is it still geared towards the young kids as it used to be. I noticed some mention for Senior stuff on your links though.
Chris focused on the younger guys, he & I tried to work a merge with the seniors I was worried about. I didn't come about.
Back then they had tourneys in about 3x that many states you posted. At least 3-4 cities in CA for T's.
Chris used the boards to get the directors and all for locations everywhere it seemed.
If WSL is thinking about senior divisions, you might want to check the RULES, etc. They were much more different that ours are, here at least. That is why we couldn't work it out.
Hope he is still playing ball.
