| Feb. 29 Jetboy 62 posts | ...something I could possibly use in my basement and/or outside. I'm looking for something I can set up a batting tee in front of and hit softballs into. Any ideas on where to look? |
| Feb. 29 Gary19 Men's 50 2609 posts | If your garage has horizontal beams in or near the ceiling, I just hang old blankets from those beams and hit into them. The balls don't necessarily "collect" like they might in a net, and will roll around a little, but no big deal to pick them up and I am sure is much cheaper and easier to obtain than the net might be. |

| Feb. 29 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | There are many places out there. you can also get 1 inch fishing netting and hang that on the basement beams. I used it for a large home made outside area. Found the nets on ebay. Amazon has regular ones as do many other sports sites. |

| Feb. 29 garyheifner 651 posts | I bought a 5x7 tarp at Menards for about $7. Has strong gromment holes and hung it from basement rafters. Let it hang loose on the bottom and it has held up for over 6 years. If you mis-hit a ball on the bottom 1/4 or 1/8 of the ball, duck!!!! |
| March 1 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | They're called sock nets. I bought one made by Atec on eBay about 5 years ago and it's is still in good shape. I also have a quilt in my garage that I hit into on cold days. It also works well. |
