MeBill,

I have two of the 454 Senior 28 oz. Breaking them in off a tee noticed one is good to go, and one seems to be a log. I"ve used the Toxic (green) for some time, disappointed that they're discontined.

OK let me fill you in on the background a little...I have been playing competitive softball for over 25 years with 12 of them at the Major/Open level. In 1994 I was signed out of slow pitch softball by the Cincinnati Reds who I played briefly for during the strike season before returning to Major Divison softball.I retired from softball after playing with Laservision/Easton in 2004 to pursue a schedule or training and competing on the Ironman triathlon circuit which I continue to do. During my softball years I was fortunate to become a consultant, on Advisory Teams, and with research and development teams with several of the top softball bat companies. I worked on some of the first composite/carbon bats and did extensive testing and research on them then. When I went into triathlon I found carbon fiber was used extensively in the sport so I fell right back into the gear design and testing mode. (The triathlon/cycling word calls us "gear geeks") I was talked back into playing softball this year and will be playing in the 50 Major Plus division with the South Florida Renegades. With all that said..I have assembled a group of younger Conference players and several 40 plus players that have extensive experience in the game to assist me in testing at this time. My company, Team 1 Sports handles Reebok, Miken, Worth, Rawlings, Oakley glasses, Pacific headwear hats, along with some of our own lines. Our website is under construction at this time but I encourage you to contact me. I am happy to help you get the products you need or the technical assistance that you are looking for. Feel free to email or call me directly at 561-718-7504 anytime. Alan Tanner Tricoach18@att.net www.Team1Sports.US

Please do I would like to see it. I was asked a question about our reviews and felt I answered it fairly. There are lots of messages all over the board from others about companies and bats. I was simply trying to help others out and didn't mean to offend anyone. Thank you, at

I would like to know if Miken is currently using the same thickness of carbon fiber sheeting on their Ultra II today as they used on the OG Ultra back in 2000?

Thanks Crusher,
I think all member's information is safe on the site, the last time I posted my email was back in Nov. 2011... most likely that's where Tri18 got my emai address.
To me that's alot of extra foot work to send a email and that to me is just wrong!

Thanks Again,
Dano

Hey guys, again...I am sorry if I offended anyone. I responded to you directly via an avail that you left out for all to see. I would never invade anyone's privacy and iI always post my email so people know who I am. I gave free Information to anyone who wants to see it and did not respond to anyone unless they asked me or posted something. Yes I do own a sports company...not a "drop ship" operation but a company who is dedicated to giving the best customer service out there. My testing provides unbiased FACTS regardless of who makes the product. If I email someone and they do not wish to receive it please email me directly and I will change it. Btw...I am probably one of the most computer challenged guys out there...I wouldn't know how to do much else than a message board and email! Lol again...I post my direct number so you can call me directly about anything, anytime. My sincere apology if I offended anyone and let's take it from the message board directly to me. For Reeboks, I use them, I know them and I assist players with their Reebok needs. I am not new to senior ball or to SSUSA. I have helped many with their Reebok needs, with issues and/or problems for over 2 years.
