Age eligibility... ?
So I have a buddy who will turn 49 in DEC. 2012... and several folks that we know told him he can start playing with them in 50+, this coming NOV. in the Winter Worlds.. ? I've told him he cannot start until next NOV.2013 Winter Worlds... so what is the deal SSUSA staff.. ??? :)

again,you can play the whole year you turn of age,if he turns 49 in dec 2012,that means he'll be 50 in dec 2013,hence he can play as of the winter worlds of 2012.......

I was bron in December and Yes he can start playing next month in LV.And Play the whole year as a 50 y old even though he is only 49.
We few who are winter babies do have an advantage when it comes to being born at the end of the year, except in Biddy Basket Ball if I do remember correctly. Its been a long time since I was 12.

Forget about the 48, If a player turns 50 years old by Dec. 31,2013 he can play in this years 2012 Winter World always givin this Nov. I'm 60 geting ready to play my 3rd year as a 60m+ Player. I was Born 12-12-1951

Again---------it would be TOO EASY for tournaments in 2012 to count for 2012---------------not 2013---------that is where some guys get confused.

Your birth year is the age you are eligable.

1963 = (50) 2013
1958 = (55) 2013
1953 = (60) 2013 etc etc etc

its the darn two months the prior year as "first event" of next year that mess people up.

Winter Worlds November 2012, is a 2013 roster tournament.
