| May 7, 2015 twintower | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: USSSA STYLE PITCHING IN SENIOR SOFTBALL In my opinion U-Trip style pitching will definitely keep homeruns down and show who the weaker hitters are. The UTRIP style of pitch is much more difficult to square up and gives pitchers more options when pitching to hitters. Pitchers should also be allowed to fake arm movements to throw hitters off. I think that this will be the next step in making senior softball less of a pure hitters paradise and give pitchers a chance to really show case their skill. What do you think? |

IT AMAZES ME HOW EAGER PEOPLE ARE TO POINT THE FINGER AT HIM IN A NEGATIVE WAY. I HAVE SAT BACK FOR MANY YEARS AND WATCHED THE SAME TYPE OF UGLY PEOPLE TAKE POT SHOTS AT HIM OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT HE IS A KIND PERSON THAT TREATS EVERYONE AROUND HIM WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. HE HAS BEEN A PERFECT GENTLEMAN IN EVERY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT THAT HE HAS EVER PLAYED IN AND HAS ALWAYS GOTTEN ALONG WITH HIS TEAM MATES AS WELL PLAYERS FROM OPPOSING TEAMS. SO BEFORE YOU HAITERS PASS JUDGEMENT ON OTHERS I SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE A LOOK IN A MIRROR AND ASK YOURSELF WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED THE PUT DOWN SOMEONE THAT YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. I JOSE AND I HAD THE PRIVELEGE OF ATTENDING THE 50 PLUS SENIOR SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT IN VEGAS LAST WEEK AND WERE TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE INCREDIBLY HIGH LEVEL OF PLAY AND THE RESPECT FOR THE GAME.BUT WHAT IMPRESSED US THE MOST WAS HOW KIND EVERYONE WAS TO NOT JUST TO US BUT TO ONE ANOTHER. MY BROTHER AND I HAVE BEEN PLAYING COMPETATIVE SOFTBALL AT ALL LEVELS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SENIOR SOFTBALL IS TRULY ALL ABOUT TREATING OTHERS WITH RESPECT DIGNITY AND KINDNESS WE HONESTLY CANT THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO RUB ELBOWS WITH PEOPLE THAT LOVE THE GAME OF ROUND BALL AS MUCH AS WE DO. MY BROTHER JOSE AND I ONLY HAVE ONE THING TO ASK OF YOU AND THAT IS THAT YOU TREAT US WITH THE RESPECT AND DIGNITY THAT WE WILL GIVE TO BECAUSE AT THE END WHEN IT HAS BEEN ALL SAID AND DONE WE ALL WIND UP IN THE SAME PLACE AS ONE THANK YOU OZZIE |
