The answer is Hell No, salio2k, But the Assoc. says you’re a M+ player when you are on a M+ Team. No matter how good you are.
And the Assoc. rates teams on how many M+ players are on a Team. (Just ask West Coast All Stars)

I would like to start naming guys who I think that should be on this list but they might not want me to throw their names out there....... Nop not going to do it.

There are many Major+ 700 plus hitters, All-tourneys that are not on the list. Ans they would make an impact on a lot of teams.

I just don't Agree with the List that’s all. If there are People missing from the list just here in So Cal, and what about the rest of the Country.

Hey Guys

I was told years back, long before this List came out “That since I played Major Plus, I could not play AAA. I couldn't drop two levels.
So in my 11 years of senior ball, I feel that this list should include everyone who ever played Major +. There is a lot of Major + players missing from this list. A LOT. They need to throw this list away and start over!

Oh and I'm not interested in playing AAA or AA........ EVER, nothing against base hitters but I like the LONG BALL. JMO

Mike, I'll check and see if Larry has D&K down for Mesquite, I'm pretty sure about Las Vegas. It would be nice to see all the Western States 60 M+ teams there. How many 60 M+ are there anyway? About 4 or 5 West of Colorado. There should be more if some teams would Stop Sand bagging and playing dowm. But it is, what it is. Always looking forward to see, play with, and against fellow Mavericks.

It was 35 degrees at 7am and 80 degrees by 12 noon, But I must add that it was great to start the new year off with some great weather and Softball. And seeing some old faces Ron D, Mike A and Steve Owens from Northern Cal. playing with GSF. Steve you look good man. Lost a lot of weight, You also look taller and did you straighten out those bow legs of yours, LOL

It was nice to meet a fellow SSWS member and supporter "Webbie25".
Hey Mark, It was nice to meet you and to play against you. I see we will definitely be have some more Battles in 60 Major Plus. Yea Mark, I see that You can hit too.

Looking forward in seeing and meeting more faces behind these post.

Discussion: WHAT TEAM DOES EVERYONE PLAY FOR

OK Mike,

I will be playing for D & K Major 60 this year, and West Coast Allstars 60 when we go back to the BASA.

In the past I've had the pleasure of playing for:

Capital Return - 50 Major 2001 Bob Woodruff

Seacrest Mavericks - 50 Major Plus 2001-2003 & 2006-2007 Ken Lipinski

West Coast Allstars 50 & 55 -Major plus 2004-2005 2009-20010 Phillip Cobb
BASA World from 2004 to 2011

Full Circle 60 Major - 2011 Bob Woodruff

D & K Major 55 - 2011 Larry Little John

Oh yea put the team called the Smashers 50 Major 2010 in there. We were anything but Smashers, Ask John Reise.... But a Great bunch of guys who I really enjoyed playing with and getting to know.

Yea, Yea, Yea, I know a lot of Guys who are phyically God gift to the human race, but when they didn't use that god given talent, they lost it. And you are so right, some of us never did have it from the get go.
But I've never saw a person who did practice and didn't get better. They have always walked away better than when they first started out. Its not just getting out there and hitting the ball, it how you practice hitting the ball.
Comom Man!!!!!

So go to 3 divisions
1. Competetive A- Serious 50,55,60,65-75
2. Competetive B- Recreation 50,55.60,ect
3. Competetice C- Buddy league, see old friends have a few drinks talk about old times.Wannabees, any age, non competetive.

I know this is nothing but talk, so try and amuse your self. BUT IF.

Personally I really feel that there should be only 2 divisions. Upper and lower. Name them what you want. There would be less sand bagging. Either you're Good or your Bad. All this evaluating. Evaluating what?
I'm a man and you're a man, I'm 50 and your 50. Why should I or You get favoritism? Some of us put work in to be 700 plus hitters, while other sit on there A's and what things given to them. Stop crying. Get you butts out and PRACTICE. You will get better. If you don't, just quit! But stop looking for hand outs. All I hear is " Slow it down so I can Play" that sounds like something a girl would say.
Oh yea JMO

Well Ron, I’ve always been a shy guy, that’s all I can say on that.
Wooden bats, I'm trying to remember wooden softball bats and all I see are wooden hard ball bats 32 and 33, playing Connie Mack in the South Bay and Long Beach.

Discussion: A Poll For The Power Hitters

Hey 4x4,
I'm 55 Major and 60 M+ and I hit about 5 hrs a Tourney. I Bat Right, I prefer the hand over hand with the knob of the bat tapered.
When I hit Hrs, their normally towards center to Right center (those are my 350'plus Blast). I like to get my short arms extended(5'11" 235lb), so I throw my hands. I can't throw my hands and hold onto the bat unless I have the hand over hand grip.
I don't role my hands on contact either, I was taught to let them fly for Hrs.

Discussion: Dislike the Cold

E4/E5 is so right when he mentioned Winter World in Las Vegas. We played Sundays Championship 55 M games into the night; the fans watch the game from their cars, it was So cold.
And Menifee, 2nd week in January, Upper 30s, Ice on the ground and we're hitting BP at 7am. Those were my coldest days while playing SS.

Yes Brad, when it comes down to it, it’s the love of family and friends that really matters. All the other stuff is just that, stuff.
AMEN BRAD. You were truly Blessed! Thank God,.... and thank SSWC for being papered with the Defibrillator.
Question....Can or Will all SSWC tourneys have a Defibrillator on hand at all its Events? Isn't it Minatory? If it isn't it should. I had a friend who had a heart attack at a qualifier in So Cal a few years ago. There wasn't a Defibrillator on site and he passed.

Congrates Brad you are Blessed to play again.

Hey Bruce, Ed is so right about the Vector. I used a freak 98 for a while but went to Combat and Reebok USSSA bats since I change from Miken.
I hit BP with both the Combat Virus and the Reebok Vector (last year’s model- blk/blue)for the last 9 months and both are good USSSA bats, But the Vector has more pop than the Virus.JMO
Also my Vector feels like its end loaded.
Sweet spot is about the same. JMO
