Southpaw,

Good luck with that date as you are infringing on a sac-religous holiday in ALABAMA, that being the 1st day of DEER season. It's also a week after the Winternationals in Ft. Myers, (my town).
Pensacola is two weeks after Dalton and Phoenix is two weeks after Pensacola and Myrtle Beach is two weeks after Phoenix and Ft Myers is two weeks after Mrytle Beach.
Now do you got all that!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Mad Dog,
That was two raisan and oatmeals, you ate one and I got the other.
You won the battle but I won the war.
We both won by hitting REEBOK's!!!!!!!!!!!
Good games to play and come out with only one run difference espically the 10 inning deal.
Hope you had a safe trip back as mine was just a I wanted, uneventful.

I do know that REEBOK had an early failure rate on certain weights and they owned up to it and replaced all of my customers bats that failed. I believe that a lot of the other reps could claim the same.

Discussion: How To Improve One's Arm?

I've played with and against Hombre and he already has an above average arm and I agree with light weight training but have 100% percent success with the weighted balls. I wouldn't suggest them for someone who is doing rehab after surgery but to strentghen lobbing them works. Shouldn't be trying to throw them hard, just like long toss. Remember it's been 6 years since he had the surgery.

Discussion: Poll on discussions and posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just asking if the majority of the people on this board are tired of all the childish bantering and forever hi-jacking ever thread to highlight there pet peeves with useless garbage over and over and over.
And yes many are already looking to other posting places just because of crew that needs "TURN OUT THE LIGHTS"

Dam, Hombre you are OLD!!!!!!!
Missed you this past weekend.

I suggest you get a set of the weighted balls (9 to 12oz) and work starting with the 9oz and working up to the 12oz and throw as much as you can. Don't try to overthrow to start with, just lobbing them will start to give your arm strength. When you switch to the normal playing ball it will feel like a feather since they weigh 6.5ozs and I'll bet you throw the normal one after the weighted ones into the ground or very low. We have at least a dozen people in our league that use these and one of them could only throw underhand but is now playing SS with at least a better than average arm.
If you need info on where to buy let me know and I'll get you the cheapest suppliers info.

Discussion: Poll on discussions and posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok let's get back to the original question/poll!!!!

Who would like to join a poll that threads NOT be dominated by a certain few individuals who are at each others throats all the time.
They never can agree with each other on ANYTHING and we have heard all we need to hear about certain issues with equipment, rules, balls etc. from them. We would probably get more posters with more/different views instead of the same few doing the majority of the posting and being at each others throats instead of discussing the issue at hand.
Gives us a break guys and quit dominating every discussion!!!!!!!!!

AAA
The 52 ball is just about like the RIF softballs bought at Walmart(cheap and soft). Just about like an old pair of dirty socks.

Birdie,
How did you guys end up?
We were runner-ups to South Florida heat.
Man what a job the ground crew did to those fields after 4-6 inches of rain by Saturday night at dark I think everything was caught up. Didn't really like the 5 inning games but we all played them so it was as fair as could be.

Southpaw,
We have 3 different leagues in HSV, 55+ 64+ and 72+.
I known that Boaz, Gadsden and Anniston also have Senior Leagues along with what you have in Birmingham and also Montgomery. I think there are also some around Auburn, Dothan and Mobile.
