Discussion: Celebrity and Legends All-star game

Did anybody watch the game last night after the HR contest.
Two of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team participated in the game with Matt Kinsey playing for the National League and Saul Bosquez playing for the American.
I had the privilege and honor to play against and with the entire team just a month ago and yes it was an honor, these guys are amazing. Matt did win the MVP with a great game. The entire team is just as good as they beat a local senior All-star team and a military team while losing by one run to a police/firemen's team on a freak play on an overthrow.
If they come to you area be sure not to miss them and if you are asked to play against them it will be the most inspiration games of your life.
God Bless all our Military,

Discussion: Reebok Melee

Just broke my first Reebok Melee with around 1900+ swings.
I got it in the 1st batch that came out and used it all last year and up to now. Sounded different in tourney on Friday but still hit well but then proceeded with small crack about halfway around barrell.
Broke out a new one Saturday and it hit well right out of wrapper but needs some breaking in to get to the same level as the one with all the swings.
I have three original Mikens with ASA stamps and it outhits all of them.

Again more useless comments from Gary19.
He just has to wave his hand and talk even if nobody is talking or listening to him.
I'm sure he doesn't understand the Triple Grand Slam and what it represents and how difficult it is to accomplish.

Discussion: Jimmy Clark Memorial Tournement

Sorry I missed the tournament but our team went to Maryville instead. If I had been there I'm sure that I would have seen all my good friends and we would have talked about all the good times and good games that we had with Jimmy. I would have done my best to say a prayer for and about Jimmy that would bring those tears to the eyes of all of us grown men. It was an honor to be asked to say that prayer 3 years ago and hope to repeat some time in the future.

Rest in Peace Jimmy

Discussion: One Day Tourney in Birmingham, Alabama

Leftyfalcon,

Surely you are not going to claim those bleeders you mis-hit as keeping you hitting the right distance!!!!!!!!
Most 10 year old girls hit it farther and harder than that!!!!!!!!!!
It was fun though getting to hit some.

Discussion: Social Security benefits

I statred at 64 1/2 due to still having earned income. When I did start I changed from February to January and it was decreased by $14. After some minor calculating I would break even after 148 months, over 12 years, I chose to start in January and hope I live long enough to experience the loss.

Dirty,

If I go to a resturant, bowling alley , bar, etc. I can't take food or drink into any of these facilities.
They are in business for a reason.
I can't bring my own stuff in and freeload on their premises and watch games on TV or whatever. Most cities actually have laws/ordinances governing the prohabition of food and drink being brought on the premises and they are plainly posted at all entrances.

Dirty,
Why don't you just go on a baseball board and stay the **** off the softball board since everything you say and comment on is negative about Senior Softball.
Not just my opinion but the opinion of many if not most on this board.

Mad Dog,

If I remember correctly they went to final four and lost and then won the first game Sunday before they lost to Jersey Masters. Jersey Master beat Stahl Post so I think that made them 4th.
Since we didn't play the Spurs you wouldn't have gotten cookies anyway DOH LOL!!!!!!!!!!
