| March 12, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Monsta Athletics Senior Bats taits, I think you have to admit that you need to exclude Steve McKinlay from being a part of the facade, he has always done what he says. It is an enormous feat that he is pulling off. I hope that when it does come about that you will congratulate him. |
| March 12, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Monsta Athletics Senior Bats taits & Clean Up, please don't take what Steve is doing lightly with God's Sports Company. He does not quit. I too have been to the plant where they make the bats. I understand the doubting because of the history, but please just wait and see a little longer. The bat will be out soon, very soon. |
| March 11, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats southernson, maybe I am naive on it, just do not see the senior bats being altered. They don't last that long anyhow, why do something to make them last even less time? |
| March 10, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats I still think it is rare for shaved senior bats. I bet less than 1%. Do you think it is more than that? If so what %? |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats Olden, I am saying that I do not see it here. More responding like I am to taits comment to me. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats taits, Perhaps you are hanging around the wrong people, or you have a very vivid imagination. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats I guess you know what you are talking about, but I sure don't. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats taits I have not seen what you describe and I am not living in a dream world. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Swing analysis canljack, I have seen that phrase attributed to Vince Lombardi. But I sure agree with it. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats taits, I play over 150 games a year and don't think I have seen an instance of a senior doctoring their bat. Maybe it is just a midwest thing, are west coast values that different to be that rampant as you say with seniors shaving or doctoring their bats? Remember we are talking about seniors, not the youngsters, I know it is rampant there. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Swing analysis My philosophy is to assess what kind of hit is needed and where you are going to hit it before you step in the box and don't change your mind. The batters box is wider than the plate. The thinking too much is when you make mistakes. People have different grips they are comfortable with and should stick with what works best for them. Perfect practice makes perfect play. |
| March 8, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats I would think that it is very rare that any seniors roll a senior bat. How other ways are there to break in a senior bat other than BP or regular play? |
| March 1, 2013 cal50 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Snow... You want to see funny, should see him (we call him naked Larry) riding that horse, he is 5' 2" hung like a donkey. When he is riding, looks like he is whipping the horse, but that is not what he is doing. |
| March 1, 2013 cal50 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Snow... Our team has a naked horse back rider. Sometimes he looks more like a bull fighter playing 3rd. (jk Larry) |
| March 1, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 1-1 or 0-0 Perhaps you can consider splitting the rule based on age next year? |
| March 1, 2013 cal50 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 1-1 or 0-0 Gary & Swing, I could not agree more. |
