Playing Major
Our team tried to play 65 in Cartersville, Ga. Well the TD said their are no other 65 M teams and can't we play against 65 AAA. So the team sponsor call the TD up and said we don't care who we play. We'll play a 50M team. Win or loss we just to play our 5 games. I can see why no one wants be moved up when the TD want let you play. So now I have to travel 8hrs instead of 4hrs to play somewhere else. It's not that we are that good for we have been beat by these 65 AAA teams. Just Venting and wanting to play.

Same situation here Joe. No team for us to play in bracket play so we won't be playing in Cartersville. I'll be there as a spectator, err athletic supporter. ;)

Lefty and Bruce,

My 50 team, Adiktiv Sports, is getting the same treatement for the Marietta tourney that we play in every year. Can't come because we are Major plus. Major plus is the kiss of death as far as getting tourney directors to let you play. I promise Major plus players love to play as much as AAA and major plus players.

The only way to solve the problem is to combine major and major plus into one division, they do it in ISSA and there doesn't seem to be a problem. Not much difference in the two.

Working on putting on some tourneys just for major and major plus teams with some different rules. Tourneys for players by players. Put the fun back in the game, old school.

I'm just saying.

Robbie is the TD for the Marietta tournament.
PattyMac, I've been a proponent for reducing the divisions to three for quite a few years but SPA and SSUSA apparently don't agree with that. See you Friday.
