The game has lost its pace. It’s possible that some guys can only access a computer at work, so they cannot respond on weekends. However, if you pose a question or answer you should attempt to respond at least once a day so the game keeps flowing. JMO

In 1972, Garry Marshall came up with a concept for a sitcom about
teenagers growing up in the Fifties, and shot a Happy Days pilot starring Ron Howard. Marshall tried, unsuccessfully, to sell the sitcom to all three networks. He sold the pilot to Aaron Spelling, who aired the show in February 1972, as "Love and the Happy Days." In what television series was this pilot shown?

I never would have gotten it without the Penn State clue (Joe Paterno).

Anyway, this is a tough one (I think). One of my favorite TV shows as a kid was a precursor to The Twilight Zone which had a one-word title. It only aired for one season in 1957.
