| June 6, 2008 Dbax Men's 50 1146 posts | Movie Trivia 12 Ken, you are up. |
| June 6, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | I wasn't sure about Hoffman, because I think Nicholson also was in at least 3 best movie films (Cuckoos nest, Departed, Terms of Endearment). Ok, how about this one. We all know who the stars of Deliverance were, but who played the sheriff, at the end of the movie, who told John Voigt not to come back to his town? |
| June 7, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | I somewhat certain that the sheriff was played by the author of the novel dickey? |
| June 7, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | ok it's early i'm somewhat certain... james dickey |
| June 7, 2008 Sisavic 131 posts | Ken, It's possible that Nicholson could be another answer, but I couldn't verify. The question referred to TOP billing, not just be in the film. I don't know what billing he had in the 3 films you mentioned. |
| June 8, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | Awesome, you're right; it was the author James Dickey. You're up. Sis, I think he had at the very least Co-Star billing on Cukoos Nest and Departed. Not sure about Terms of Endearment. |
| June 9, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | Movie - Tora Tora Tora As the japanese were beginning their attack on Pearl Harbor a flight of B-17's were also attempting to land, what was the name & rank of the flight of B-17's Commander? Not the actor's name the Real Life name of the Commander. |
| June 9, 2008 J3 208 posts | Just saw the movie again for like the 20th time. Major. Truman Landon |
| June 9, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | That is Correct! Next! |

| June 11, 2008 Sisavic 131 posts | What film's opening credits were rated X? (I think there's only on.) |

| June 13, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | How about the Jane Fonda film"Barbarella"? (But I don't remember it being x-rated) |
| June 13, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | How about the Jane Fonda film"Barbarella"? (But I don't remember it being x-rated) |
| June 13, 2008 Sisavic 131 posts | Ken, Barbarella is correct. Jane does a strip tease during the opening credits. My movie book says the film is PG, not X. Check out Jane experiencing the "Excessive Machine" in this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye5Jo1I4XXc&feature=related A couple of other curious things from the film: The band Duran Duran takes its name from the mad scientist Dr. Durand Durand The village name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch was used as the password for Dildano's headquarters. |
| June 14, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | In the movie "The Naked Jungle" Charlton Heston's plantation is besieged by who or what? |

| June 19, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | OK, 3 days is long enough for this one. The answer is Heston's invoking of the right of "Primae Noctis", or the right of the lord of the manor to sleep with the bride on her wedding night. Next one: In the movie "Weird Science", one of the cool guys, who would always make fun of the two nerdy kids, is played by a now accomplished actor. Who was it? (Hint: he stars in a popular movie that is out now.) |
| June 19, 2008 Dbax Men's 50 1146 posts | Bill Paxton |

| June 24, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | Here's a 2 question offering from the Tom Cruise/Jack Nicholson Movie A Few Good Men 1. Twice towards the beginning of the film Tom Cruise is shown having softball practice, both times he is shown hitting, obviously using a bat. What bat was he using? Keep in mind this film was made/depicted during the early 1990's. 2. Same movie- What Oscar winning actor made a Cameo appearance in the film, that lasted approx. 1 minute? |
| June 24, 2008 Ken Men's 55 464 posts | Cuba Gooding Jr. is the second answer. As for the bat, I think it was an old Demarini, but not sure. All I know is that they should have had a stand in for Tom Cruise when he was swinging, lol. |
| June 24, 2008 2awesom Men's 50 295 posts | Cuba Gooding is right! The bat was a black single wall TPS-Louisville You are up! |
