Just curious for opinions as to the performance difference between these two bats. I know one person that swears the jak'd Nemesys is hotter.

He is incorrect. And the other thing about the Ultra is the sweet spot that seems to be 24" long. Damn near impossible to mishit with that bat.

Yes, though admittedly just a handful of swings.

I was told the 2007 model is considerably hotter than the 2008 model.

I have no idea which one I swung. To me only vehicles come in model years. :)

When we play in NSA Canada association ball we use the Jak'd a lot. It's probably the most popular bat for NSA Canada and on those standards is a great bat but an Ultra II it is not. The U2 is also less expensive. A couple of our guys sometimes swing it in SSUSA play but only because they are comfortable with it. I would use any senior bat over the Jak'd.

They sell in Canada for about $300. (that's almost free in US $ these days ~:) and come with a 30-day warranty. You can often get them for a little less if you shop around.

Is that a typo or is it for real, a 30 day warranty. This bat must not to durable with only a 30 day warranty

Someone mentioned to me during the course of this year that this was the same bat as another we know but renamed/repackaged - but I do not remember what they mentioned. The Rebok bat of the Cannon????????

It was also talked about on SBF somewhere.
