New Miken Psycho bat
Anyone heard anything about this one?
I got an email from Miken and am wondering if there is anything known about it yet.

I'm still waiting for the new Rip-it that was supposed to be launched earlier this year to appear somewhere.

Taits,
I haven't swung the bat. I did see Corky from Miken and a couple guys hitting with one at Worlds in Phx last month. They seemed to be getting good performance with it. But then, I think Corky could hit 300 ft line drives with a wet rope. :) LOL. I think it is a USSSA bat. As for the Rip-It, I don't think it is going to happen. Just a rumor that is floating around Az.

taits I know this is going to be hard to swallow but I've got the new Super Freak Maxload and it is a USSSA bat and it's better than any of my senior bats. I normally hit a ball between 310' and 340' when I hit it out but I played in a USSSA tourneyment a few weeks back and the first pitch the ball went to the top of the trees. With a 300' fence. We played against the young guys and when you hit a line drive or a grounder in the in field they couldn't catch up with it. I hit .900 in that tourneyment. It's a little end loaded and a great bat for USSSA or Senior ball.

Lefty, alias Cajun Joe, you should go into the used softball bat business. How many do you own now? But I forget, you usually break them! God bless; hope you and your family have a great Holiday season. I will have surgery on my right foot Monday--torn ligaments. Take care, Steve
