Yes there are many companies out there ripping people off, so be careful. I was a victem of this. I sent for a free sample them they charged my CC for 2 bottles and sent them the same day.

Since Oprah's show many companies that sell capsules put 2 grains of this and then a bunch of crap and can legally sell it as acai berry. These companies products will not help anyone.

Thanks for the info on Sambazon Co. I noticed here in
Fl. that the supermarkets like Publix's etc. carry the product. Will have to see if they do.

Anyone can Google the words acai, ORAC, free radicals and Brunswick Labs. Brunswick labs has the patent in conjunction with the US Dept of Agriculture for ORAC testing. The product I am taking is the ONLY independently certified acai product on the market, 3 times as pwerful as Monavie and its certified that what it says on the product is actually in the bottle.

The acai berry is a grape-like fruit harvested from acai palms in the rainforests of South America. Acai berries are a good source of antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats. Some manufacturers claim that products made from acai berries can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol and gain energy. Research on acai berries is limited, however, and these claims have not been proved. Still, fruit is an important part of a healthy diet. If you'd like to try acai berry products, check local health food or gourmet stores for acai berry juice or other acai berry products. Fresh acai berries spoil too quickly to be distributed widely
