played in Georgetown,tx this past weekend.we had 10 teams in the 60's.
3-AA
6-AAA
1-M/M+
here is how the TD split them after 2 seeding games.
upper- M/M+,3 AAA,1 AA
lower- 3 AAA,2 AA
why you ask, well the answer that was given for the AA team to play in the upper was b/c they had a +6.
ok fine but the AA team who was seeded #1 in the lower bracket had a +15.
my thinking is that all of the AA teams should of been together in the lower bracket, with the 2 lowest AAA rated teams from seeding.
oh well still played and had fun,we went 2-4 for the 6 games we played.

Bob, I wondered that myself...makes more sense to have the "best" 4 AAA teams in the Upper bracket with us. We still had to spot everyone 5 runs - AAA and AA. If you guys had been in the lower, the 2 AAA teams would have given you the 5 and you would have played even with the AA teams. Fact is, the team that won the upper (Alamo City Legends) is rated AAA. I know you saw them play and would agree, I bet, that they should be rated Major. They beat us 2 of 3 with 3 of their guys hurt! AND, they were rated Major last year.

we did play them in a seeding game, and they beat us.they are a good team, but we had chances but blew them.the texas pickups are a new team, but they should be a AA once every thing gets straighten out.
yeah we didn't play 1 AA team all weekend,we were spotted 5 runs every game, should of got 10 against you guys,LOL.
we did have a good time and every one out there look like they did too.just wish we could of done something about the heat and humidity.

The tournament in Georgetown was great and the weather gods were kind to us, last year we played in Lake McMaster. Our team and pitcher was unaware that the pitching arc was changed to 6'-10' not the normal 6'-12' until our 3rd game. Also, the tournament games were 50 minutes not the normal 60 minutes, and the championship games was 50 minutes not the normal 7 innings and no time limits. We were scheduled to play at 8 AM on Saturday and I was unable to attend the manager's meeting that was scheduled at 8 AM on Saturday.

pitch height should of been 6-12'.i know there wasn't that good of enforcement of it tho, prolly more like 4.5'-10/13'depending on the ump we had.
