| Aug. 3, 2010 Lecak Men's 55 998 posts | End loaded Fish scandal Enjoy A professional angler found to have stuffed lead sinkers down the throats of fish he submitted for weigh-ins during a prestigious bass-fishing tournament has been banned for life from that and other competitions in a scandal that has rocked the tight-knit and passionate bass-fishing community. |
| Aug. 3, 2010 Downs 45 posts | Why hell yes Lecak. If you check in the rule book, it is an "ALTERED" fish. |
| Aug. 4, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1803 posts | Lecak-I actually heard he visited the fishing site and put the lead sinkers in before the tourney and caught them with electromagnets. :-) ATTRACTIVE, HUH? |
| Aug. 4, 2010 taits Men's 65 4000 posts | They have also been known to step on the fish to stretch them for longer size. |
| Aug. 4, 2010 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | oh webbie your to much...LOL wonder if the fisherman had a magnetic personality. being a fisherman myself,i found that despicable in what he did.to me he only gained a max of a .5-.75 of a pound,so why do it.yes oz's sometimes can be the difference, but dang why.glad to hear he was banned for life. |
| Aug. 4, 2010 VINNY LV Men's 50 137 posts | cmon mad dog,,being a softball player why do they shave bats????? DAAAAAAHHHHHH |
| Aug. 5, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1803 posts | Gosh, Vinny-I am surprised that they cannot go onto ebay and buy altered fish, you know, sharks painted to look like bass, piranhas painted to look like goldfish, professionally so you can't tell the difference! |
| Aug. 5, 2010 #6 Men's 60 1159 posts | taits, I can see it now...mad dog is stepping on his bat trying to make it longer. LOL ! |
| Aug. 5, 2010 stick8 1117 posts | Just an FYI, I'm sure you all know Carl Rose. What you may not know (or maybe you do) was when he was playing major ball he also competed in professional bass fishing tournaments. Bass fishing for money during the week, hitting bombs for money on the weekends. What a life!! |
