Bob, Golden Eagle: Location: 6400 Vista Blvd.

Directions: I-80 east to the Vista Blvd. exit, head north on Vista Blvd. to Wingfield Springs (approximately 8 miles). The park is located one-half mile past the entrance to Wingfield Springs. Entrance to the park is on the right hand side just prior to Fire Station #5. Taken from the Golden Eagle website.

DoubleL10-You will love Golden Eagle-100% synthetic turf painted to look like a field. Probably the truest hops I have ever seen on synthetic. They have tiny rubber balls around the bases so you can slide ok, but the outfields are a bit rough on a knee in a diving catch. We loved them overall.

Webbie, Bob is correct; we played at Golden Eagle the first year it was open. It was very nice. We now have a similar arrangement, I believe, in League City, TX. Played there a couple of years ago and I think it was comparable to Golden Eagle.

OMG-enhanced fields for playing with enhanced gloves, enhanced bats, dumbed down balls, etc. Where can I get an enhanced brain for those 'senior moments'?
