Mike, you are right there, it was chilly, we broke 2 in the 1st game saturday, both UII's, again, both were catastophic breaks, not small cracks. who knows how many more with mild cracks.
I used my Reebok the entire weekend without a problem.
I cant imagine what you big hitters must have experienced.

Hey John and Mike, Don Newhart posted a picture in face book. The picture was the temp. Display in his car, at the time when he arrived in Hemet. The picture was taken around 7am in the morning and it said inside temp. Was 71 degrees and the outside temp was 23 degrees. That’s too cold for the California Kid; I was not going to play in the kind of weather and crack anymore of my bats like I did the two years before. I cracked 2 end load reeboks before March 2010 and last year I used My Miken freak (2004) and the Miken legacy U2, No breaks. I will never again use my game bats in Hemet or before the month of April. Believe that!

Kennard, I was told it was actually 21* at what should have been game time. Thats colder then a witches..............heart
