HOW ABOUT MOVING A TOURNAMENT TO A
CITY YOU CAN'T FLY INTO, NOTHING FOR WIVES
TO DO EXCEPT TOUR A CARPET FACTORY.
DRIVE 2HOURS TO GET FROM AIRPORT TO CITY.
THEN PAY MORE FOR TOURNAMENT FEE.
OUR TEAM IS TAKING LESS PLAYERS AND A
WHOLE LOT FEWER WIVES THAN PREVIOUS
YEARS. WILL PROBABLY NOT GO TO SPA
NATIONAL NEXT YEAR IF IN SAME CITY. YES YOU CAN
FLY INTO CHATTANOOGA, BUT LIMITED ON FLIGHTS
OUT ON SUNDAY EVENINGS! PROBABLY MAKES
GOOD SENSE FOR SPA, BUT NOT FOR TEAMS.
DOESN'T MATTER HOW GOOD A DEAL SPA IS
GETTING IF THEY LOSE ATTENDANCE.

Discussion: TEXAS HALF CENTURY

THE "NEW" TEXAS HALF CENTURY CLUB IS GOING
TO BRING BACK THE "OLD" BAYTOWN TEXAS
TOURNAMENT MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, HOPE
TO SEE A LOT OF THE TEAMS THAT HAVE INDICATED
THEY MISSED THE OLD "BARBQ BLAST" COME BACK.
SHORT NOTICE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT HEARD
ABOUT IT YET. ALSO BAYTOWN HAS ADDED 4
BRAND NEW FIELDS TO THE COMPLEX! IF WE ALL
GET BEHIND THIS EFFORT WE COULD SEE
A "LOT" OF NEW, MAYBE, MONTHLY TOURNAMENTS
IN TEXAS. I'M TOLD THIS ORGANIZATION IS VERY
STRONG IN FLORIDA.

Discussion: Fix the TOC

IN NOVEMBER 06 WE WON THE VEGAS WINTER
WORLDS, WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR THE 2007
TOC WE & ONLY ONE OTHER 60+AAA TEAM WERE
WILLING TO GO. RATHER THAN SPEND THAT KIND
OF MONEY TO HAVE A TOURNAMENT OF "2" WE
OPTED NOT TO GO. UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES
SHOULD WE BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE NEXT TOC?

Discussion: New Format for 50's and 55's

OOPS! I FORGOT. I'M SORRY, I KEEP THINKING IT'S ABOUT THE PLAYERS AND NOT A MONEY MAKING
BUSINESS. THE MORE TIME I HAVE TO TAKE OFF
WORK, THE LESS MONEY I HAVE TO ATTEND
ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENTS. MORE TOURNAMENTS
OR LONGER TOURNAMENTS,

THAT'S GREAT FOR YOU 50-55S, I WISH RIDGE WOULD
LOOK AT THE SAME PROGRAM FOR THE 60S.
THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF GUYS IN THE 60S THAT
STILL HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING.

FORD MOTOR CO. LOSING "BILLIONS" OF DOLLARS.
HOW DO THEY SOLVE THEIR PROBLEM, THEY DISCONTINUE THE FORD TAURUS, THEIR BEST
SELLING CAR EVER. DO WE SEE SOME OF THE SAME
BRILLIANT STRATEGY FOR OUR FRIENDS A
MIKEN. PERHAPS THEY SHOULD RENAME
THE BAT,"THE MICKEY" (mouse) INSTEAD OF MIKEN.

Discussion: 3DAY VS. 2DAY

I HAVE EXPRESSED CONCERN TO ALL LEAGUES
ABOUT THE NEED FOR A 3DAY TOURNAMENT
FOR 5,6, EVEN 7 TEAMS IN A BRACKET. MANY OF
US STILL WORK AND HAVE TO TAKE FRIDAY AND
SOMETIMES THURSDAY OFF TO ATTEND A
TOURNAMENT THAT COULD BE DONE IN 2DAYS.
DO ANY OF YOU SHARE THE SAME CONCERN???
