Discussion: Why Not Have A Players Committee Of Real Players To Over See The Rules

just my 2 cents, but how on one hand is SSUSA so worried about safety that it is mandatory for pitchers to wear a mask then turn around and declare excess home runs are dead ball outs, knowing that after the last home run anybody in softball will hit up the middle instead of making an out. If safety is first why not let all swing to keep the ball away from the middle.

Discussion: Manassas, Va.

I have been playing senior ball for seven years and have lost to turn two playing 50 when they were 55 and lost to them playing 55 when they were 60. They have a very good team and at times they embarrass the younger guys, having said that it is not right for any association to make them play out of their age or classification. In Raleigh they were given the 60 birth but still wanted to play and had a very good tourney against the 55's. senior ball has been enjoyable because for the most part you don't have the arguing and whinning the young open ballers have. If a team is getting it's butt handed to them everytime they line up against turn two either get better players or go at it as is. Don't punish a team for fielding a great team. grats to Ray but you still can't beat me at corn hole.

Discussion: refund policy

why can't the team list for tourneys be posted prior to the dead line so there is plenty of time for teams to decide after seeing whether you have someone to play in your age group. I know that if isn't you are entitled to a refund but how long would it take to receive it and would it not be easierin that case if knowing ahead of time you would not have sent that large fee in the first place.

Discussion: Ratings

do not understand the problem Sweet beat everybody in Loudoun and sooner or later should be moved up anyway. that is the problem with all of the associations some teams never get moved while others get bumped and then there are no teams to play, it is a continous problem with the major plus division that needs to be solved. it costs way too much money to play these tourneys for a 2 out of 3 situation.
