I know we (Michael Valerio/Pinnacle) were in the final 8. We lost Sunday morning to CJ & S Express at 8:00 AM. So the above list is not totally correct.

Congrats to a good Bagbeys team for winning championship, wish we could have played you guys.

3. You reside in state that touches the teams state you are going to play on.

Discussion: Where is Mesa Fields

Just looked on the Tentative field assignments for The Worlds in Phoenix. The 50 AAA are set for Mesa. What fields are these? There is no mention of them on the web site or in the Tournament Guide.

HELP!!!!

Discussion: Playing a lower division team in Champaign

I am not complaining about HR's here or how a team is rated. I am talking about following the SSUSA Rule Book during tournaments. Why didn't we follow the rules at Champaign? That is the point of this thread!

Discussion: Playing a lower division team in Champaign

In Champaign last weekend we played 2 AA teams (we are a AAA team). We had to give them 5 runs and then played by AAA HR rules! WHY?? Rule 13.3(8) E states "If there is a difference in rules governing the teams in a mixed division, the rules governing the weaker, older, teams will be used". THIS WAS NOT DONE!!!
Also, we played 45 minute games on Sunday (no problem with this), but the 5 runs given to the AA team were given in the 1-5 inning (not 2-6) so they could get their 5 runs.
This goes against the same rule as above 13.3(8) E which statesc "If the gane only goes 5 innings, the weaker team will recieve a maximum of 4 runs." THIS WAS NOT DONE!!!!
I do not want to sound like a winey-but but shouldn't we abide by the rules written in the 2008 OFFICIAL RULE BOOK?????

Expalin this to me SSUSA!!!!

Discussion: AAA or Major

Just went on the ISSA website to look at teams going to Manassas in August. Saw Angle Inn 50 regestered as a AAA team for this tournament. SSUSA has them rated a Major team. Don't the associations talk to each other?

Discussion: AA Home Run Power

We were 6-2 in the tournament (Pinnacle) we lost to Chicago Prime AA by 4 and the Chicago Storm the other AA team by 1 in the double elimination tourny. Another problem was they shortened the game to 45 minutes on Sunday and still gave the AA teams all 5 runs.

If Brickyard really won then I say Congradulations!! I am glad an AA team did not win it. Nothing against Chicago Prime, they are a great bunch of guys, they just do not belong in AA. If you ask them they will tell you the same thing.

Rabbit, Congrads on a great tournament. Who did you guys lose to in the finals?

Discussion: AA Home Run Power

Has anybody had anything like this happen. We are a 50+ AAA team. We played a AA team in Champaign this weekend and they hit 13 home runs in our prelininary game. We ended up winning 25-24 (even had to give them 5 runs).
Not complaining, just wanted to hear from other teams with the same experience. Something has to be done with the rating system!

Discussion: Last Years Midwest Championship

Hey Rabbit

I see you guys won this tourny last year. How many teams were in the 50/55 AAA bracket last year? Was it a good tourny? Mike Valerio/Pinnacle is planning on playing in Champaign this year and I was just wondering.
